Great experience
Dr. Waila was so kind and took time to explain steps to the procedure. I know pain management injection are fast and they move people in and out but everyone was so nice. Appreciate the caregiver who pulled my underwater out of my but. All the hospital workers took great care of me.

Just ok
First visit was the best. He was open to treatment options. I had mri and did not review with me. Went directly to back injections. Found myself in hospital not even knowing where the injectiln was going. Then tried to get follow ul appointment after injection. Was told no to an appontment. Next thing I know different thing was recommended. Not sure what is up. Needs to be more communication with dr and patient. Also felt like he doesn't really care.

Worst Doctor
Walia is the worst doctor. He cut me off again and again. Dismissed me because I can't afford treatment, and would not listen when I said I do not want a certain treatments because it would cause weight gain. He even cut me off one time saying he believed I was in pain. I wasn't even questioning my pain the mris showed the damage. When I reported it through the survey from Integris the treatment got even worse. He is a fraud and a horrible doctor.

I’m on Medicare and trying to get a nerve ablation procedure approved. I’ve been waiting a month for a prior authorization approval. Dr Walia’s staff just says they filed it and cannot do anything further. Medicare says they never received the authorization. I’ve reached out several times to Dr. Walia’s staff. I’m in extreme pain. I’m seeking another pain mgmt dr.

Dismissed
Made me feel like I shouldn’t be having pain at all. Compared me to another patient with a worse condition who isn’t having pain. I don’t know what his reason was for doing that, other than to make me think I’m crazy for feeling what I feel: PAIN! Now I’m back at home trying to push myself through the pain, trying to convince myself it’s not real, and ending up in tears when I can’t. I wasn’t asking for pills so that’s not an issue. I felt like I was putting him out, having to listen to me complain about pain when he couldn’t find anything “significantly wrong” on imaging. To me if felt like I was being dismissed, not believed, and that his time was being wasted on me—someone who shouldn’t be feeling anything at all compared to others.
