Dr. Asim Yunus, MD

Have been seeing Dr Yunus for many years, excellent care provided. Only downside is long wait times at appointments. I always ask for earliest available. My most recent appointment was at 7:45am. I assumed I was first or second, but still waited 90 minutes before seeing him.

My cardiac condition is a bit complicated. Dr. Yunus patiently explained in clear detail his analysis of my symptoms. He outlined a number of possible treatments in escalating order. Together, we established a schedule of follow up meetings. We agreed that he would be my cardiologist of record moving forward. At the end of my appointment, I felt that I was in good hands and left our meeting with a great deal of relief and comfort. My only complaint was waiting an hour after my scheduled appointment time to see him. In summary, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Yunus to others.

I waited over 2.5 hours and was told was just getting my recorder checked and I would be returned to the lobby to wait LONGER for the Dr. I specifically asked an hour into my wait time if I would be able to make my 12:30 appt elsewhere and was told yes. I was asked to be there at 9:15 and was told I would not see the Dr until after noon. I left without even being seen after 3 hours of waiting and told the office I'll be getting another Dr after no empathy or apology for complete disrespect of patients time.

Dr. Yunus was a great listener and very knowledgeable. Explained things clearly and solved my issue.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Yunus to anyone needing a Cardiologist. I have heard great things from others about him. He took the time and asked of my symptoms. Once I described them he explained how the body and heart works to me to understand my diagnosis.

Dr. Yunus has always answered all my questions and has done an excellent job after 17 years, four ablations and two cardioversions. He literally saved my life.

My husband has had Dr. Yunus do three ablations for AFib. He is knowledgeable, patient & does a wonderful job of explaining what he has done, using a wipe off board & colored markers. I have absolute trust in Dr. Yunus to provide the correct care for my husband.

In my follow up appointment I was anxious because I did not want to upset Dr Yunus but second opinion on pacemaker differed from Dr Yunus. He put me at ease by assuring me I am in control and taking time to explain his concerns and experience and concern that my condition could create long term health issues. He also found a way to try and converge the differing opinions and check on my generator. Thank you Dr Yunus.

Dr. Yunus communicated confidence earned by great knowledge, experience and skill. As a physician, he was determined to do his best to alleviate his patient's problem. Cardiac ablation can be frightening, but it can eliminate troublesome arrhythmia. Dr. Yunus carefully explained the aspects of disease and of treatment. He did all that he could safely do in a first, obstructed ablation, then encouraged me to try again, with improved information and technology, this time with complete success. Dr Yunus readily earned my trust and reliance and took pleasure as a highly specialized helping professional in repairing a worsening problem. I was privileged to have Dr. Yunus care for my heart.

Dr Yunas is very through..he explains everything in terms that are understandable. He is very good at what he does. I trust his opinion on my medical needs. Dr Yunas is my go to for any heart issues that I have.

Dr Yunis is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explains everything in detail for you.

Rude, insulting physician. Prescribed most expensive testing and medications he can. Doesn't listen to patients concerns about budgets. Told his wife about me. Told me that if I was dying in the er to make sure the staff didn't call him because he would refuse to see me.

Dr Yunus is very patient and thorough. He explains details and provides a clear vision of the condition that needs to be improved. He is definitely the best:)!The staff is friendly and personal.

After over thirty years trying to manage irregular heart beats I ended up in a hospital in Florida with yet another .....atrial fib. Medication did not work and after a year of ER and hospital stays I had an ablation done by Dr. Yunnus in Saginaw. It has been seventeen months and I am A Fib free! And my other irregular heart beats have been fewer and far between. Thank you Doctor Yunnus for giving me my life back!!!
