Patient services
she was dismissive of my questions and pains before she discharged me. I had to be rushed to the hospital again a week later after multiple calls to her with my concerns where she again DISMISSED my pain. I insisted on another doctor and refused her service until I got one who was much more professional and much more empathetic. If you get this doctor please ask for another one or at least have someone who can Advocate for your care in the room with you for your own safety. I am still paying medical bills for 2 extra surgeries because of Dr. White!

Communication and Patient care
My mother underwent gallbladder removal surgery and was discharged on the same day. Unfortunately, she experienced severe pain, and the procedure lasted longer than anticipated. Regrettably, the surgeon did not follow up on her condition, whether through a nurse, a phone call, or an in-person visit. Later that evening, her pain escalated to an extreme level, necessitating her transfer to Gwinnett Medical Center. It was then discovered that she was experiencing internal complications, including a leakage. Additional tests are currently being conducted to determine the full extent of the issue. What was expected to be a single procedure has now resulted in two surgeries and a request to avoid returning to Emory Decatur. While I acknowledge the surgeon's skill, I strongly urge greater attention to patient care and post-operative follow-up to ensure such situations are avoided in the future. DON'T BE RELEASED IF YOU ARE STILL IN SEVERE PAIN!
