Would recommend her!
I believe this was my 3rd time seeing Dr. Van Wormer and I’ve always had a great experience with her. Very pleasant doctor. She never makes me feel rushed during the appointment and she listens thoroughly to my questions/concerns. For my appointment on 12/13/22 I was upset about a personal issue and she consoled me, which was so kind of her. The medical tech that accompanied her (named Pilikia) was an absolute sweetheart & lifted my spirits. The receptionist who checked me in was also very friendly! This was Ochsner Baptist by the way.

Best Gynecologist
Dr. Van Wormer is absolutely the best gynecologist I have had in my 35 years of life and I’ve unfortunately gone through many. She is down to earth, easygoing, compassionate, and very understanding. Any time something is wrong, she is matter of fact and careful not to cause alarm. Every visit with her feels like a get together with an old friend. She’s very easy to talk to and explains everything in ways I can understand but don’t make me feel like a child. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a good gynecologist!!

Dr. Van Wormer is hands down the best OB/ GYN I’ve ever seen. She’s sweet, personable, listens intently, and is always full of helpful suggestions and solutions. We recently moved away and I’m desperately trying to find an OB/GYN half as good as Dr. Van Wormer. If you are in the greater NOLA area and looking for a great OB, you are in fantastic hands with her!
