Dr. Ashley Hisel, DO

She has been our PCP since 2015. We like her as our PCP so much that we now travel over 250 miles each way to see her ever since we moved away over 2 years ago. Due to the distance she is even willing to do telehealth for most med-check appointments for us.Her office is surprisingly punctual. She works us in - usually within days - whenever we need appointments. We have multiple complex conditions so she tries to schedules us at the end of the day; that way if our appointments run long it does not make her late for her other patients - giving us plenty of time for our many questions and even an occasional short social chat.

She spent a full 30 minutes with me, answered all my questions was very thorough, informative and cheerful.

So happy with her as my PCP! She listens to concerns and discusses solutions. She responds quickly to any questions you may have after you leave the office. Very nice and shows real concern.

I chose Dr. Hisel because she is a D.O. I liked that she would have a more holistic approach with the human body. Dr. Hisel is smart, compassionate and knowledgeable. I trust her completely. I find her easy to talk to and a good listener. She allows me to be part of the decision-making process which is critical for me. I feel like I can be me with her. I was disappointed Dr. Hisel rehired a nurse that moved and returned. I felt this nurse belonged in a different medical setting.

Dr Hisel is extremely negligent. My first visit with her she prescribed me 7 different medications that I no longer take. She prescribed medications that caused even more issues for me in the end. She never followed up and if I contacted her expressing concern my symptoms they would just send out a different prescription. I feel like this is terrible medical help. She doesn't genuinely care about her patients.

Dr. Hisel completely ignored my health concerns and told me I was fine. Six months after my appointment with her, my health tanked drastically due to the concern I had expressed to her. A year later, I am still reeling from the damage done to my body by her ignoring my concerns a year ago.
