Thorough & Knowledgeable!
Dr. Basu asked pertinent questions and came up with a timely plan to assess my symptoms. He also asked if I had any questions for him. I could tell he is a very knowledgeable physician. I was especially impressed with how he seemed to share his thoughts aloud as he was deciding on the best course of action. He spoke about the tests I had previously had and then explained what diagnostics he wanted to add to make sure nothing was overlooked or missed. I am thankful to have a doctor of his caliber in Decatur.

Wrong medicine
He SPECIFICALLY asked me why I was on a list of meds. I TOLD him I was bipolar. He puts me on a heart med that CAUSES depression! My regular Dr. was shocked. I also told him that my stress test ekg showed something about bundle block and they wouldn't let me take the treadmill stress test. I had the chemical test. I told him this and he said he didn't see it. My regular Dr ran an ekg and found it immediately. Also, his nurse is rude and uncaring.
