I received two steroid injections after suffering from lower back pain for months. Insurance required physical therapy before the procedure which didn’t help but after the procedure with Dr. Rizvi the pain was gone and I remained pain free for over two years! It was so good to get instant and long lasting relief and get back to my active lifestyle. Also, I no longer needed to take any ibuprofen or painkillers after the procedure.

Doesn't provide fast pain relief for back pain
I love the time he took and what he could do for me in the future and explained what I needed to do to get relief in weeks or months but didn't offer anything for the chronic pain I was having and have lived with for over 5 years in other areas. Just stated he doesn't prescribe pain medication for low back pain. Didnt even ask me about having pain anywhere else whcih hes aware of and as a health professional i know he knows back pain is on3 of the worst types of pain, while managing ra and chronic pain as well for years now. Even though he said it'll take time to get approval for an mri. I trusted this doctor until my last appointment. Go to him if you can wait to get out of pain but go else where for quick relief and then see him to fix it. I wish that's what I would of done.

Relief after years of pain
I am a person who has lived with a pain in my right hip that moved down my leg and even into my feet I tried Chiropractic, masage theraphy, physical therapy, working out, electro theraphy and all have helped a little to a lot. But it never stopped the pain. The pain encombered my ability to move, get out of my car or to stand for extended periods of time. I had trouble sleeping and just assumed that I would have ot live with it. At Weiss I was recommend to see Dr. Rizvi and he administed a shot to my right hip that took the pain away and has given me relief that I thought was not possible. I am truley grateful that I was able to recieve the treatment that I needed. It has changed my everyday life. Thank You Errin Auxier

I needed chronic pain medication management. I have been to specialists and I am a hardworking, well- respected professional woman. I know that I need surgery and came with my baseline MRI’s. He did nothing for me and didn’t even look at my MRI Reports. I can’t have surgery yet as my daughter fighting cancer and trying to maintain a 60 hr a week profession to pay my mortgage and and care for my daughter. My husband left us after 40 yrs of marriage and now I’m working harder than ever! Dr Rizvi made me feel like a drug-seeker and I resent that. He did suggest burning the nerves in my back with a “slight” risk of paralyzation and/or meningitis. Help me understand, you refuse to manage my chronic pain meds but are ready and willing to put me at a risk for said above. In my opinion, he should have a better respect and understanding for the Middle Aged working class woman! Thanks for taking my $60 copay for 10 minutes of nothing at all. left that office feeling taken advantage of!!
