Dr. Arthur Pedregal, MD

DR. PEDREGAL became my neurologist when I was in drug induced coma, as result of an acute respiratory distress event. Hospital time 5 months. Near death for half of that time. I recovered. When I got home I was asked to make an appointment with Dr Pedregal. HE PUT ME THROUGH SOME NEUROLOGICAL TESTS and discussed with me his findings. I was ready for bad news. he found that my brain had not been severely damaged. He expressed his astonishment at that finding. The low oxygen period had damaged my kidneys, my thyroid glan and my muscles. Since then in office visits he calm, thorough, infinitely knowledgable. and is very careful when discussing serious issues that I understand both sides of my condition. He doesn't panic and tries very hard to discourage me from panicking. At 81 YEARS OLD, I'VE HAD MANY DOCTORS. DOCTOR PEDREGAL I MY FAVORITE DOCTOR.

Dr Pedregal is an excellent Neurologist. Displays genuine concern for your welfare, always spends plenty of time with explanations, questions. Provides reasonably solid advice with prime directions in a polite manner. Fortunate to be under his care.

Very caring - listened carefully to my symptoms and made some excellent / sensible suggestions for my treatment. Staff were attentive and polite.

Doctor misdiagnosed family member. Diagnosis does not align with the 4 medical tests completed by patient. Doctor did not return family calls and concerns regarding patient. Sad situation.

Appointment was at 9:30am. I arrived at 9:10. I drove one hour to get there, filled out the forms, and waited until 11:00am. After an hour and a half of waiting, they told me that the doctor couldn't see me because I didn't have a referral. I actually called them 1 month before the appointment to make sure they got the referral from my primary doctor and they confirmed that they had it. Horrible customer service!

Dr. Pedregal has been my doctor for more than 25yrs. He was there for me before, during and after my three emergency brain surgeries in 2007. I am now experiencing new problems which he is taking care of just as he did before. Dr. Pedregal is not only the best in his field, he really loves and cares about his patients. I trust him with my life. They do not make doctors like this anymore. I thank God for Dr. Pedregal .

Misdiagnosed for years by Dr Pedregal. If he would have bothered to look at the MRIs he ordered he would have seen that I had MS all along. 2004 2006 2010 He first concluded Neuropathy. Then when my symptoms worsened he overlooked it once again - thinking I was making this stuff up. Trip to the ER showed my lesions have been there since first MRI in 2004. Scary ! You know your body so don’t give in to the pompousness of some doctors!

Refuses to work with patient's insurance companies on recommended treatment. Dismissive of patient concerns. Will order multiple tests with no explaination of results. Withheld results of my MRI for over a year until I requested the paperwork, which showed 2 growths. Rude and arrogant, not open to growth. Only one phone line, so you can't get ahold of staff without calling 10+ times. Usually runs late, by 2 hour so. Tiny, crowded waiting room. Staff is kind and welcoming, the only consolation.

Very bright, caring, good sense of humor, Easy to talk to, takes time with each patient, explains in easily understood layman language. Highly recommend!

Didn't receive my bill until 13 months after my visit. It came out of the blue and was very vague as to what the charges were for. No return envelope, or even a phone number to call on the bill... Once I Googled the office number and called I got either a busy signal or a very rude and unprofessional answering service. Still have not received a phone call back after from office manager after finally reaching and leaving message w/ receptionist. Office seems to be old and outdated

I have know Dr Pedregal for years, and always thought of him as a good Dr. I decided to go to another neurologist based on my last communication with his office. I take a drug that he prescribes. The drug nurse suggested I try a different form of that drug. When I called his office to discuss that drug, they had no what I was talking about. Even the office manager did not know. When they did order it, it was the wrong strength. For several reasons with the office, I am changing Drs.

I have seen Dr Pedregal for over 14 years. He is up to date regarding the many diseases that fall within his specialty. He is extremely caring and compassionate. You may have to sit in his waiting room while, but when you see him he spends as much time as you need. I would rather have a Doctor who really cares and listens to me. He talks to me in words I can understands. He been on the Good Docs list for over 15 years. This list is on a MS site.
