Dr Mabaquiao is a awesome Dr. Very kind knowledgeable gets to the bottom of things i went thru so many Dr and finally found him in El Cajon. He has been the best Dr ive ever had. He takes his time with you and listens to you and trys to do everything possible to help you. I just wish they hadnt moved from El Cajon his infusion center is awesome to . The staff is very kind. Theres no words to describe how good and personable Dr. Mabaquiao is!! Im Grateful to be his patient after years of misery. He deserves more then 5 stars!!

Best Rheumatologist around
Dr. Mabaquiao is a God send, is that the saying, lol. After being dismissed by every other doctor for 7 YEARS I finally received a diagnosis and treatment. 7 years of pure misery, feeling like I was going to die everyday! Dr.Mabaquiao not only listened but heard me! He listened to my symptoms, my family history and my labs and imaging! The staff has been incredibly wonderful too. I have developed extreme anxiety over doctor’s appointments and when I saw some of the other reviews I was honestly a little worried but my experience has been nothing but stellar! I finally have renewed hope! If you have been gaslit and ignored by your doctor's Cabrillo Rheumatology is where you need to be. Super grateful for the positive reviews which led me to find one of the best doctors offices in town!

THE best patient-focused rheumatologist
Dr. M. is sincerely a patient-focused rheumatologist. You are not just a number or a $ sign to him. He cares about his patients and LISTENS to all of your concerns. He takes the time to explain your diagnosis, treatment options, and answers all the questions you may have. I would recommend him to my mother, my father, and to anybody really. If you need a empathetic doctor who holds himself to the highest standards of care then go see Dr. M. you will not regret it.
