Dr Katz truly saved my life. On August 6, 2018. Dr. Katz, during a 8 hour surgery, removed a very large tumor “myxoma” from my left atrium. During my initial consultation, he was able to deliver some very scary information regarding my diagnosis and treatment in a way that made me feel calm and well educated about what I was about to undergo. I immediately knew he was the surgeon for me. I was literally trusting him with my life. His care before, during and after surgery was exceptional. I hope I never need his services again but if I do, I pray that he is still here in the area and operating. He is my miracle worker.

I had an alergic reaction to the anesthesia and was in Palm Beach Gardens ICU almost a month after a quadruple heart by-pass. When I got off intubation, I remember Dr. Katz coming into the ICU at around 5:00 every morning. Everyone got a chest Xray and reluctantly was moved to an upright chair. Of course this was to prevent pneumonia. I was a bad patient and gave everyone a hard time. When I finally had my last consult with him in his office, I apologized. He said 'You were just scared' And forgave me by giving me a heart shaped little stone to remember him by. BYW, My 'ZIPPER' is almost completly gone. Sugery was done in 2019. MG, Jupiter

Apart from being an amazing Thoracic surgeon who truly cares about his patients , his bedside manner is the best I’ve ever experienced. Dr. Katz saw me on short notice. Stayed at office to see me at 7:30 pm. Spent an unrushed hour with me explaining all aspects of care until I was satisfied I had the complete picture. All of that and my condition was not even an emergency or exigent situation. Complete opposite of today's assembly line health care. I am honestly floored to find this kind of complete, compassionate and dedicated medical care in today's world.

Dr Katz performed a quintuple bypass surgery (off pump CABG) for me in 2014. The entire process was handled exquisitely by Dr Katz, who demonstrated his consummate surgical skills and exemplary patient rapport. Almost eight years later, I have had no complications and am currently a healthy senior and long distance runner. I was very fortunate to be Dr Katz’s patient and highly recommend him.

Ascending thoracic aneurysm repair and aortic valve repair

I was BLESSED by drs. and nurses who cared enough about me to recommend Dr. Arthur Katz in 2019. I had a poorly functioning heart caused by a faltering mitrol valve causing my heart to be enlarged. Dr. Katz and his wonderful nurse, Laurie, have the ultimate bedside manners. Dr. Katz is humble, kind, and, extremely skilled at his craft. I am truly fortunate. I cannot say enough good about this dynamic duo. Dr. Katz will forever be my heart surgeon!!!!! I cannot thank them enough. ???

Dr Katz performed one valve replacement and another valve rebuild. Additionally, he completed two coronary artery bypasses. The surgical scar has healed so well that it can hardly be detected. Dr Katz’s bedside manner is extraordinary and he has tremendous respect and admiration from the hospital staff.

He literally came to see me every day sometimes twice a day while I was in intensive care . Dr. Katz performed my aortic valve replacement in 2010. Amazing recovery and results. Dr. Katz was just incredible, I could not ask for any better. It's now 2017 and everything is still perfect.

Dr. Katz performed open heart surgery on my Dad and I highly recommend him to any one seeking top notch cardiac surgery. His office staff Laurie is also top notch. She got us in the next day to see the doctor, kind of unheard of these days. A hands on old school operation. No recordings to listen to and no PAs to see instead of the doctor. Just the way it should be. A very caring and excellent team. This world could use a lot more people like Dr. Katz and his family. Excellent human beings!!!

In 07/2015 Dr. Katz performed open heart surgery to remove a tumor from my heart. Besides being an excellent surgeon with fantastic bedside manner, Dr. Katz is an good person. If you require heart surgery he is the only way to go.

In 2012, Dr. Katz performed a double bypass operation, which probably saved my life. The surgery went well and he followed up daily during my stay in the hospital. When l mentioned during a post-operation visit at his office that I was having some shortness of breath, he immediately had me go to the hospital for a diagnostic test. The test showed a build-up of fluid around my heart and Dr. Katz operated that evening to remove the fluid. I highly recommend Dr. Katz.
