Dr. Arthur Katz, MD

In my opinion, Dr. Katz's lack of ethics is repellant. Read on to learn why.I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Katz for a routine preventative skin cancer treatment that I've been getting at other locations for @10 years called PDT. The first step involves cleaning the skin with acetone. So, Katz tells me we're going to use liquid nitrogen instead. Then he tells me it's too late in the day to do the rest of the treatment. The treatment involves waiting for 90 minutes for a medication to be absorbed by your skin. So, Katz would have known this in advance. This treatment also makes your skin very sensitive to sunlight, so it's almost always done late in the day in Dec-Jan so you can go home after sunset. Maybe he had tickets to the opera? I can only conclude that the liquid nitrogen treatment was to give him something to bill Medicare for. Net result, an afternoon wasted, necessary treatment not provided, unnecessary treatment -- as I said, repellant.

very happy to have found him. usually not to bad waiting time but the service he provides is well worth the wait. staff is very helpful and friendly as i am handicapped. Would highly recommend !!!!

Dr. Katz was so personable, fast and efficient. He did a thorough assessment and did not make us wait or follow up for results/procedure. was really impressed with how quickly he worked to resolve our concerns and answer our questions! his long term knowledge put us at ease.

Dr.katz is extremely efficient and knowlegable in his field. My first visit was such an amazing experience. He resolved 5 diffrerent issues within 20 minutes. Issues that for 15 years I have been bounced around from specialist to specialist for with no resolution. I reccomend him to all friend and family members with enthusiasm. I am grateful to have found someone who is as experienced as he is. Above and beyond service with a very polite and friendly demeanor. 10 out of 10 stars to this experience.
