Dr. Arthur Jones, MD

If I could give him a ZERO I would in a heartbeat. This guy TRAUMATIZED my seven-year-old because he got impatient with him not complying with his exam. My son has sensory issues and was already afraid of people touching his ears/mouth, basically messing with him in general, but this guy takes the cake for the worst interaction we have EVER had in a doctor's office. When he could not see the back of my son's throat, he did not even try to explain what he was doing when he grabbed a wooden stick (tongue depressor) to look at his throat. When he got tired of me trying to explain what the doctor was trying to do, he grabbed my SEVEN YEAR OLD'S shoulder and pulled him down ACROSS the bed so that his head was hanging off one side and his legs were kicking off the other! He was pushing on my son's forehead with his head hanging OFF THE EDGE OF THE BED just so he could see his throat! Well, he saw the back of it alright because my son was terrified and screaming at the top of his lungs.

Dr. Jones is personable and very knowledgeable. He patiently answered all of our questions and purposed a reasonable course of treatment. Shauna, his assistant, is kind and caring. Receptionists Christy and Debbie are at once efficient and friendly.

Dr. Jones very helpful in providing a pre-surgery screening. He was very professional and performed all the tests required.

Dr. Jones is no nonsense. He listens, gives good advice and makes sure prescritions are called in timely. The staff is extremely professional and great to work with.

Routine med check. Dr. Jones is always friendly understanding and listens to your thoughts. Been going to him for three years and don’t see myself needing another primary doctor in the future.

I went in to see Dr. jones for my annual physical, I found him to be thorough, and he answered my question to my satisfaction. I found his staff to be courteous and competent.

I had my wellness visit and felt that all of my questions/concerns were addressed.

First time visit with Dr Jones. Got the job done quickly. Answered all questions, no problems at all.

Yes, on my first visit I felt he was smug, arrogant and didn't want unnecessary input from me. I have changed my opinion. I find him caring, competent and thorough. Maybe you were not at "your best" on that visit---give that some thought! In the meantime check your attitude--are you always charming?

I have been going to Dr. Jones since I moved to Idaho 4 years ago. He has taken the best care of me I could ask for. Always explains what should or should not be done, and I have every confidence in his opinions. He is very caring, down to earth, doesn't prescribe unnecessary tests, procedures or medications. The wait time never more than 15 minutes and I can always see him within a day when I am sick. Staff is great.

Apathetic

I really enjoy seeing this doctor as his visits are always very informative and quick. I feel confident taking my entire family to him because he is so knowledgeable. His staff are phenomenal and make the whole visit delightful!

Dr. Jones is a very opinionated and might I add, a complete, in my opinion jerk, who I will expressly add, would better serve his community, at a remote Jacksons Food Store!!

I quit going to Dr. Arthur Jones because I found him to be smug, arrogant and lazy. He did not seem to care about me as a patient at all. He did just what was necessary to collect his pay check. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I am pleased with the availability and open discussion that I have had with Dr. Jones.

The doctor that I was seeing sold this place of business which is now St. Al’s and this Dr. Jones IV came on & my 1st visit with him maybe lasted 10 minutes if that. He states in my medical records I was belligerent & that he would be happy to check my B12 levels which he never offered & when he said I don’t think this is a good fit I can see we are not going to get along so we are done here you may leave & said I won’t charge you for the appt. I asked what about my labs, he said u had labs???

I seen Dr. Jones for a few years now and I trust him. He has been on top of the recent medication recalls and made the necessary adjustments. The staff is always friendly and helpful. As most people there is a little apprehension in seeing your doctor (shots, meds, tests), but I do feel comfortable and trust Dr. Jones.

I am very happy with Dr. Jones, and he has the best medical assistant I've ever had. I followed them from Eagle clinic to the Meridian Clinic. The only complaint I had was that the Meridian clinic has carpeted floors. The smells from the cleaning products they clean the carpets with make it hard to breathe. Of course that has nothing to do with the medical staff, they were great!

I really like Dr Jones. He listened and then gave me excellent advice based on his experience and my needs.

Greatly disappointed - tried to share concerns to which he had no answer, nor care. He really could have cared less and as far as I'm concerned I am still looking for a doctor.
