While I have the utmost respect and confidence in Dr. Inoshita, I am less than impressed by the customer service skills displayed by one of his office staff members. Today I called to set up my next visit but the receptionist made that process more difficult than necessary. Perhaps she was tired or really wanted to get me off the phone in order to get to lunch, I don’t know. In fact, she ended the call without asking if I had any more needs, questions or concerns. I had va to call back to present my second request. Again, I really like Dr. Inoshita but he would be well advised to remind his staff of the importance of good customer service skills as we are the reasons that his staff is gainfully employed.

Both of my parents have consulted with Dr. Inoshita for decades and he has shown genuine concern for both and assisted their well-being, my father to 87+ and my mother still going at 93+. Each of my parents spent time in Community Memorial for operations and other treatments by outside specialists and Dr. Inoshita would check on their well-being each day - his visit would give my folks confidence because of his was concern (note: he did not charge for these stop-by visits). One comment above is misguided, Dr. Inoshita wants to consult with the patient and not the patient's child, no matter how medically knowledgeable the child is (or thinks he is). I've experienced this and I understand that Dr. Inoshita is seeking the best info from the patient first and foremost, and will seek added info from family members when he believes it is appropriate.

Very incompetent treatment of my elderly father. Family asked several times for referrals to specialists for my father. Instead, Inoshita prescribed meds that caused negative reactions. It’s because he wasn’t the specialist in those areas. During a hospital stay, the hospital dr. discontinued one of the meds, saying it was “very dangerous”. Another med caused my dad to be comatose & it was discontinued under the care of a different dr. My family is so happy that Inoshita is no longer involved in my dad’s care.
