Dr. Higgins has always brought me great peace of mind! He is about as nice, polite and comprehensive as it gets! I have never had to worry about scheduling or rescheduling appointments and getting prescriptions filled on time!

My first experience with a psychiatrist that felt thorough. Dr Higgins spent more than 5-10 minutes with me as opposed to my last psychiatrist. He seemed to actually care about his job and it made me feel cared about instead of brushed off. I’m not used to good mental health care. Dr Higgins is going to help a lot of people.

Great Doctor For Me

I really enjoy having Arthur Higgins as my Doctor. He is very no nonsense, but also very supportive. He has guided me to make more healthy choices. I’ve really needed that kind of support. He may not be for everyone, but having someone who can help me make better choices has helped me tremendously. Once I got into the groove of my appointments I saw improvements in several areas. My mental health has improved, my caffeine intake has decreased and I have been getting some of the best sleep I’ve ever had. I’m very grateful for all his help.

Pushes long term anti depressants as only treatment for anxiety. If you don’t agree with this long term treatment, you’re left suffering.

If you need a 'Pro to threaten you'

Higgins is your guy. He's belittling threatening. This a talking excuse to NEVER seek help if you go to him first. If he is your only experience you might not take a second chance to to actually get help. Don't expect anything helpful from him. Threats accusations the call me again. No listening, just negative feedback.

Dr. Higgins is the worst!!!! Do not see him!!
This was the worst experience I have ever had at CHC which I have been at for 15 years. Dr. Higgins made me feel bad for the mental health diagnosis I have had since 5th grade (I am now 35) and told me I was lying about it. He told me he did not read my chart and proceeds to berate me about my previous diagnosis. Do not go to him unless you want to leave with more anxiety than you came to him with. He did not help me or offer me any solutions using his resources at his disposal. Not even a referral to a therapist or someone who could actually help. Do not go to this unhelpful rude doctor!!
