Great care with actual care involved.
I went to Dr Gelb, and felt like he actually cared about me. I didn’t feel like just another Manila folder on the door. He went out of his way to help me in my time of need.

Dr Gelb is a pleasant man, and I felt very comfortable with him. Office staff was courteous, professional. I was seen within 15 minutes of the appointment time. Parking is available.

This review is no reflection on Dr. Gelb, but instead his office staff. We couldn't even make it to Dr. Gelb! They had initially approved my relative's health insurance, but delayed her to be seen by 2 months even though her condition is worsening and her primary doctor urged them to have her seen. When she arrived at the office, they said that they didn't accept her insurance. Total bait and switch. Classic incompetence. This staff would rather have you die than have you be seen by Dr. Gelb.

Dr. Gelb leaves the examining room door open while with patient so he can carry on a conversation with people down the hall while he is PRETENDING to listen to the patient. He also answers personal phone calls (talking about tennis or ???) while with the patient. Every visit with him felt like he was on his way out the door to be somewhere else.

Our experience with Dr. Gelb is of high level dissatisfaction. Dr Gelbs professional mannerism displayed lack of morals and ethics when determining the heath of our son. Our recommendation to other families is " refuse" this Doctors service he gives very little support to the families does not understand the patient or caregivers concerns and will not allow the voice of the family to be heard or taken into consideration. Dr. Gelb unprofessional physician!

Dr. Gelb is such a terrific doctor. He is one of the rare doctors who truly spends time with you to discuss anything you may be seeing him for. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and attentive to all details of your situation. I can't say enough about him. Also, his staff is wonderful!
