My child was diagnosed with Fibro and CRPS. After 5 years treatment my child was on biofeedback. Pain struck and showed on the graph. Ghandi said, 'NOW we know your pain is REAL'. My child was shocked and hurt to be accused of lying about her pain. The school also told me that Ghandi told them that she was delaying the paperwork to pressure me to take my child off homebound. And Ghandi told me that by the time my child was an adult, she would no longer meet the criteria for Fibromyalgia. That was simply not true. Ghandi is dishonest, does not believe her patients, uses school paperwork to manipulate parents. She is a CBT/GET proponent and could be dangerous to patients with CFS or Long Covid with post exertional malaise (PEM). If you have doubts about how a doctor is behaving towards you or treating your child, if a treatment is not working as expected, if the school isn't getting the paperwork on time... listen to your instincts and find another doc.

Our daughter has a rare auto inflammatory disease and was referred to the Cook Children's Pain Management clinic and Dr. Ghandi. Her disease creates a chronic and near constant pain level. We had to wait four months for an appointment, and had started physical therapy while waiting. Dr. Ghandi wanted her to do PT at a clinic closer to them, which was excessively far from where we live and were doing PT. After agreeing to let us remain at our PT, she prescribed meds that did not help and was frus

I wish I could give NO stars. Dr. Ghandee is extremely arrogant & rude. I was very disappointed with the entire experience. We waited 4 months to get into see her. We tried to provide medical records prior to appt. We were told no. We arrived with our records (300 pgs) she stated she did not need them. She knew nothing about the 2 yrs of hell & multiple surgeries my 16 yr. old daughter had been thru. She then proceeded to treat my daughter rudely and belittle her. Absolutely awful experience.

I felt like she was very thorough and really listened to my daughter. She is open-minded and takes a very thorough, holistic approach to treatment.
