Dr Rahim was the substitute doctor in place of my designated PCP when I went in for my physical exam and an examination of my lingering leg injury after a fall. He has sterling educational, supervisory and medical policy credentials. He manages several doctors and is a senior administrator. I was concerned as to whether his other responsibilities compromised his medical knowledge and experience purely as a doctor. Happily, the answer was no. He not only showed good clinical knowledge and answered my questions well, but also took his time to go through my medical history and treatments, order tests and follow up on my test results. His broader knowledge of matters and interactions with other providers was actually a plus - as he could advise on labs outside of the Mount Sinai system if I chose to avail of them, and some treatment options.
