Uncaring, unethical doctor
Arooshi Kumar was a resident at the Bellevue psychiatric ER in 2019, where I ended up after passing a gallstone at Northwell Lenox hospital earlier in the night. When I was released from Bellevue (where I was held for 6 hours) I requested the doctor's notes for my visit. Arooshi's notes indicate that she saw my discharge paperwork from Northwell and knew I'd had a gallstone attack, but she falsely claimed that Northwell suspected "EtOH intoxication." I believe this is because the only reason you can be held in a hospital against your will is substance abuse. She found some vitamins in my bag and decided this meant I might be high on "MDMA, cocaine or K2." (She wrote this after having acknowledged my urine drug test from Northwell was negative.) My legs were shaky, and because her specialty is stroke, she added that I might have had a stroke. My insurance was eventually billed $5000 for unnecessary tests.
