Dr. Arnon Krongrad, MD

I had my prostate removed by Dr Krongrad in 2012, other than 3 cm diverticuli in my urethra post operatively that I had to have cauterized, the surgery went ok. One problem, the pain and symptoms of prostatitis that Dr Krongrad was trying to fix continued, After nerve blocks for pudendal nerve, a treatment and a diagnosis for pudendal nerve, I am now waiting for MRI to check out Pudendal nerve entrapment. A likely issue as the whole problem for me started with herniating L5 S1 nerve. Pudendal nerve comes from S2 3 and 4. Listen, Dr Krongrad was ok urologist, but he is a poor neurologist, which when he is involved with nerve sparing procedures, makes me wonder if he understands the whole nerve issue going on in the pelvis.Specialists seem to be a little too myopic in their approach. If you have prostate issues that include bladder pressure, testicle pain, pain in prostate area(inferior rectal nerve), and tailbone pain, definately get Pudendal nerve entrapment ruled out. You may get a prostate taken out for no reason. Rob

I visited Dr. Krongrad in 2014 for prostatitis symptoms and pain. I was 31 years old with no cancer. My condition did not improve and the surgery left me with debilitating symptoms and more pain. Dr. Krongrad was extremely confident before surgery but unresponsive post-op. This was my experience with Dr. Krongrad.

I saw Dr Krongrad in 2010 for Prostate CA surgery (Nerve Sparing) and here I am 8 yrs later doing 100 % with no complaints. The test of time is the true evaluator. Sorry for the delay in posting this! Dr Krongrad is a fantastic, caring, superb and experienced surgeon very knowledgeable in his practice and is kind and compassionate when taking the time to consult with patients. His staff are wonderful and Kudos To ALL especially Hope from my time there in 2010. They are the BEST.!!
