Several doctors recommended that I see Dr. Chung after I was diagnosed with non-small cell adenocarcinova lung cancer. At my first appointment, Dr. Chung discussed my options and explained the risks and advantages of robot-assisted right upper lobectomy. I chose the surgery and I'm so glad I did. The surgery went as planned and the recovery was much easier than expected. Dr. Chung saw me before the surgery to answer any last minute-questions and I saw him a few times after the surgery. In addition to being an excellent surgeon, he's kind and compassionate and he has an excellent staff. Look no further than Dr. Chung - he's the best!

Dr. Chung performed a miracle for my mother. He took so much time with us and explained her condition thoroughly. Her situation was extremely time sensitive, and he moved mountains to get my mother into surgery quickly. He is an extremely talented thoracic surgeon. His non-invasive procedure allowed my mother to heal so quickly. She is already off the oxygen and has zero pain. He was even able to keep a part of her lung and all the cancer is gone. I have never met a surgeon more compassionate and caring than him. It is not every day, that you meet a doctor that treats your family like they are his own. What he did for my mother was truly extraordinary. He is a world-renowned surgeon, the best I will ever know!

Dr. Chung is wonderful. I cannot thank him and his team for the quick action they took with my care. He removed my right middle lobe of my lung and removed the cancer and I am making a full recovery as he continues to follow my care. I have so much confidence in him and I am very grateful. I seen Dr Chung in the summer of 2017 after having a smoker ct scan in California When I moved to Las Vegas I needed to find a thoracic surgeon With a lot of luck I found Dr Chung and he recommended that the spot on my lower right lung be removed but he had to remove a third of my LungI don't think I would be alive today if it wasn't for the scan and Dr Chung I can't thank him enough for saving my life not only is he a fantastic surgeon his personality is the best he makes you feel like family and a friend Thank you Dr Chung

Dr. Chung was very straightforward about my condition. He was thorough, considerate, and confident in his skill set. He consistently demonstrated his knowledge and expertise. If I ever had to undergo a lobectomy again, I would definitely choose Dr. Chung as my first choice. However, I hope I never have to go through it again. Dr. Arnold Chung and his staff ( Helen, Sandy, Johnny, Physician Assistant, etc.) are amazing! Dr. Chung and his highly compassionate trained staff are professional, personable, efficient, and knowledgeable. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and Dr. Chung performed her lobectomy which went smoothly. He checked up on my mom daily when she was an inpatient at the hospital and his staff was quick to schedule a follow-up appointment to ensure she was healing properly. He also has a great sense of humor and made my mom feel at ease despite her diagnosis.

In August 2022, I was diagnosed with having a nodule in my upper right lung which was identified as adenocarcinoma. My physicians referred me to Dr. Chung. My wife and I met with Dr. Chung where he reviewed my scans with us and explained everything in great detail. He went over our options and answered all of our questions. We both felt much more at ease with our decision due to his knowledge and professional demeanor. On September 19, 2022, he performed an upper right lung lobectomy and all went very smoothly. He monitored my recovery constantly every day and even came into the hospital at 1:30 AM once to check on my progress. On 9/13/2023, I had my one year post surgery CT Chest scan and follow up appointment with Dr. Chung and everything is clear. Dr. Chung is an ACE!! He is very professional, knowledgeable, patient and very patient oriented. I feel lucky to have him on my team. His office staff is courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and very responsive.

He butchered me! I had lung cancer and he removed my upper right lobe. It was 9 months before I felt like a human again. After 3 1/2 years I have permanent nerve damage on my right side, still in pain! Because of the pain I can't walk correctly and walk with a limp! I am waiting for a walker now. After the surgery I started having neuropathy in my toes! And after surgery I have such a strong sense of smell, I can't even wear perfume or use strong cleaning supplies. I WISH I HAD NEVER HAD THE SURGERY!!!!

After being diagnosed with Lung Cancer in the Upper Right Lobe, I went online. Made appointments for second and third opinions I asked Dr. Chung to explain EVERYTHING to me like a kindergartner. He didn't bat an eye, he took his time to make sure I understood what to expect before and after he even drew me pictures! While waking up from the procedure, I could hear Dr. Chung speaking with my family. Later I asked if I was dreaming. No, that I wasn't and that he had made them feel comfortable, and they, too, were impressed. He checked on me every day during my stay. Once released I had an issue with my pharmacy and getting a prescription filled, I texted Dr. Chung around 3:30 AM. He texted me back within an hour. The next day I had my prescription through a different pharmacyy, his team followed up by calling several times throughout the week to see how I was feeling. It's been six months. I'm cancer free and I feel great! I Highly Recommend Dr. Arnold Chung. He is the Best!

Dr Arnold Chung is the most amazing Dr on this planet!!! I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and Dr Chung went in like a rock star and took out all the cancer! I had a Wedge Resection and a complete lobectomy of the left upper lobe. No Chemo, No radiation! My husband and I knew the after the first appointment that if anyone had to take out my lung, it had to be Dr Chung. I will be forever greatful!

I was diagnosed with Esophageal cancel which required an extremely technical and lengthy surgery. Even though extra time was needed to complete the successful surgery, every care was taken for my well-being. I couldn't thank Dr. Chung enough for his professionalism and amazing work from beginning to end. His staff at the office are super nice. Dr. Chung is the best! From the first day we met I already knew I was in good hands for my surgery. He also answered all of my questions I had even after my consultation appt. Through my stay at the hospital he always checked up on me and made sure I was gaining my strength back and in just 3 days after my robotic assistant sleeve resection I was getting back to normal with minimal pain. No words can express how blessed and grateful I am for having him as my surgeon. He is my savior who has a big loving heart, very compassionate, sweet, caring, affectionate and funny doctor. He fed me when he saw I haven’t eaten my food. He gave me a hug every time there was progress in my condition. As such it boosted my morale and gave me courage and strength to fight my cancer. He never missed a single day to visit me.
