I am having an EXTREMELY horrible and frustrating experience with their office staff and “billing department”. For every appointment I had, I was reassured vehemently that my appointments were covered by my insurance. I made sure to double check and ask explicitly. NOW A YEAR LATER, I’m being sent a collections bill in the mail for a ridiculous amount of money. The amount is so high it does not make sense for the 1 maybe 2 visits I have had. It certainly does not make sense why I’m being charged all of a sudden a year after when I was told that it was covered!! Please find a GI practice that does not mishandle your important insurance details and actually cares to make sure you won’t be facing a massive collections debt for something you shouldn’t have been charged for. This is 100% their fault and they are taking 0 responsibility for the financial burden it’s now putting on me.

First Time visiting this office saw nurse practitioner Susanna she was very nice and said to call back if the medication sample work that she gave me I’ve tried calling the office all week from Monday through Thursday at 4:30 I was told on Wednesday she was going to call me back the girls there are very unprofessional the office is dirty and they don’t call back all they care about is the money just like most doctors I am never going back there I don’t recommend it unless you have money to waste.

I've been a patient with Dr. Jimenez for about 8 years, multiple procedures (colonoscopy, etc...) and very satisfied with his services. My last visit was an Upper GI in late 2019. As usual, I met with his office manager to discuss insurance and out of pocket expenses - paid in full on the spot. Almost a full year later I received a bill for $168.00. No explanation on the invoice, just said "balance due.". I phoned the office and left a voice message disputing these charges and asked for a return call to discuss. Never hear a word until a few months later when I received a bill from a collections company strongly requesting payment in full. Of course I paid wanting no negative impact on my credit history. My point. For a long term patient with multiple procedures performed and paid for wouldn't you at least expect a return phone call before selling the debt for pennies on the dollar to a collection company? I would. I'll not be using Dr. Jimenez in the future.

Dr. referred me for a colonoscopy. Dr. Jimenez office called to schedule the appt. Went to the make shift, dusty, cold office. Had the consult with NP, Susanna, she was nice, professional, asked me questions, I had my own. Waited to be called into another office w/directions as to next steps. Could have been the mgr. Was scheduled for the procedure in a wk. Had to fast for 2 days, most reviews online stated 1 day of fasting. Was confused but followed the instructions. Day 2 I was sick. Called the office starting at 8am, no answer. Called 6 times that day. No answer, no call backs. Was appalled. I called at 4pm yelled at someone and no solution. The day of the procedure in Alpharetta was very professional unlike Buford. Met the dr., a nice guy. Wasn't planning on returning to Buford ever. They called me for a tele-call. Fine. As long as I never went back, 15 min before the call I was asked to pay $43, should have been told when appt was made. I said no. I'll get the results from my dr.
