Sincerely honest and passionate in her knowledge
Dr. Bijari has been my physician for many years. She finds the cause, when possible, with In office tests and offers the solutions to help best treat the diagnosis. I find her compassionate in discussing medical results, unrushed, and patient, in answering my questions. Her experience and years of knowledge make Dr. Bijari an exceptional choice of Neurologists. She loves her work and her patients; some “unfixable”! She shares information and gives an honest opinion. I would highly recommend Dr. Bijari.

Completely uncompassionate and rude
Took a family member in to see Dr. Bijari to review test results that resulted in a diagnosis of Alzheimer's / dementia. Dr. Bijari very quickly delivered the diagnosis, along w/ a couple brief pieces of information, threw a prescription at us and asked if we had any questions. She impatiently answered our questions. She then concluded the meeting by writing up the post appt. notes in MyChart and submitting it while we were still talking. The then got up from her desk, told us we had to go, went to the door and called the next patient before we made it out of her office. Dr. Bijari does not possess a bedside manner. I've received more courtesy and compassion from a fast food drive thru worker.

Dr Bijari and her staff are very professional. Dr Bajari takes her time and listens to the patient. Then she discusses treatments to help your symptoms.

Dr. Bijari is cold and lacks empathy in conveying a serious diagnosis to patient and family. Two visits and we were done with her - she left us traumatized. After our bad experience, my husband wouldn’t agree to see another neurologist for his condition for 3 months. He is now going to Rush - where they have a great team who cares for patient and caregivers.

The thing I liked about Dr. Bijari is that she comes right out and bring her patients into her office. She does not act better than you or smarter. She is very down to earth and honest. She tells you straight out what she thinks and if she can or cannot help you.

I made an appointment for my husband who suffered from lewy body dementia. I tried to get him in sooner then his scheduled appointment due to an episode he had. They told me no appointments were available, I would have to wait till his scheduled appointment. Only to be called the next day that the Dr Bihar was refusing him as a patient. I made this appointment a month ago. I know this disease has no cure but you never gave him a chance. He was 55 years old a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend. His name was Carl the patient you failed. August 1963- August 6th 2019

Dr. Bijari is one of the most unprofessional neurologists I have ever dealt with. She is pompous and has horrendous bedside manner. She completely disregards other doctor's opinions and is very condescending towards patient's family members. Save yourself time and heartache and stay away from this woman.

Her appointments were always too fast. I couldn't understand how she would know if I hurt with anything since she did the exam so quickly. I felt like she didn't listen to me or my problems. I kept going to her office and would tell her how much pain i was in. I was on so many meds that I was always sick. Dr. Bijari felt cold as a doctor and put a lot of stress and depression on my condition. I was disappointed in her. Please stop rushing and spend time to know your patients. We're important to

I have pain and numbness in my hands, and have had cervical disc issues. She did so many tests rather than beginning with the most obvious possible cause of my pain and ultimately found a pinched nerve that she felt is not serious, but offered me no suggestions or medication, physical therapy, or anything at all to get rid of the pain. She just said she's finished, I don't need to go back to her. I can't wait to see how much my health insurance is charged for no treatment at all.

Dr. Bijari is excellent and at the top of her field. Moreover, she is compassionate towards her patients. I read the negative review about treatment based on a specialst's diagnosis...that is part of the practice of medicine - working with other doctors - especially specialists. Additionally, something like MS...doctors can only treat what's reported to them. There's always another side to the story; I've seen Dr. Bijari for years, have friends and family who see her and we highly recommend her.

I came in with my husband to find out what was wrong with him. She was and is so caring, kind, and very open and informative to both of us. She wanted to get to the bottom of the problem and solve it. We can't say enough about her. We are so blessed that she is in our lives.

Dr. Bijari may be a competent physician, but her office is not professionally operated and not worth the hassle to deal with. There are better options in Chicago than the Neurology Department at DuPage Medical Group. Don't waste your time. Stay away from Dr. Armita Bijari’s office.

This doctor should be sued for malpractice. Was my mom's long term MS doctor for years following an MS diagnosis from a specialist. It came to be a few years down the road that the diagnosis was not MS, rather it was Amyloid Angiopathy. When another doctor questioned Dr Bijari on why she continued to treat her for so long for MS, she said that she had doubts about the diagnosis but followed what the specialist said anyway. A specialist who had seen my mother ONE time.
