Would not recommend. He was on my daughter’s pick line placement 4 years ago and refused to listen to her and lied about giving gas to sedate her after trying half a dozen times to stick an IV. When in the OR told her she was too old at 15 for gas and continued to stick to dig for a vein. Trauma still exists today 4 years later and every time she needs surgery or an IV. Had another panic attack before going in for her port removal all due to an uncaring doctor who lied to her and her parents.

This doctor was in charge of taking care of my daughter earlier this week. And he was rude, and distasteful and condiscending in his remarks to me and my family. He didn't make us feel trusting in his abilities or care. And he acted annoyed at my daughter and acted like he hates kids. VCU needs to listen to their patients and het rid of the dead weight,starting with him. He was terrible. Luckily there was a nurse who came in and immediately connected with my daughter and we felt really happy with her. Someone described her as magical and she really was. My daughter felt very comfortable and walked with her out of the room. Thank God for her. But I cannot say the same about Dr Dubovoy. He was awful and really made my daughter uncomfortable. He should not be working with children.

Rude. He was uninterested in my answers to questions. He kept looking at his watch as if i was taking up his time. So disrespectful to my wife and me.
