I would not recommend Dr. Silver. She works like she's on an assembly line. She has no bedside manner and must say okay at least five times per minute. She seems very high strung and rarely looks you in the eye. She dishes you through your visit, after you had to wait for her to get around to you. If she doesn't see swelling, she doesn't see an issue, even though you're feeling pain. She may be good in her field, but she must learn to listen better. She also ordered incorrect labs for me and I had to have them redone. Because of her mistake, I had to pay twice for labs and it wasn't the first time.

My mother and I were told by this woman that I did not have Lupus and to take a potassium pill for three weeks. My primary found out she didn't test me for any vitamin deficiencies, so how did she come up with that? Come to find 5 years later I am denied additional life insurance because she did diagnose me with Lupus and I was never informed. The only reason this went under the radar so long is that my primary shortly changed computer systems so "old information" did not transfer over without an inquiry(thus the life insurance inquiry). And of course I am mad that my primary had no idea what she did. Do not waste your time, go to Penn or Jefferson. See an actual professional who doesn't let vacations or personal problems influence their job. I was told by reception back then that when I tried to ask about the potassium pill I couldn't get through to her because she had just left for a cruise ship vacation. Never went back. Never will.

I never write reviews, but I was compelled to write this because I felt that all my concerns were completely dismissed by Dr. Silver. I left her office feeling frustrated and belittled. To think I rushed through my day to be on time for an appointment I thought would be helpful only to leave there feeling worse than when I went in. Not the way it should be.

Doctor Silver listened closely treated me with respect , diagnosed, explained in a way easy to understand. Also had to call the office over a holiday weekend and got a response within 15 minutes. I couldn’t be more pleased with this practice.

She spent a decent amount of time in the room but despite seeming to listen to me she ordered the wrong blood tests resulting in a negative diagnosis when another doctor ran tests and found it. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but even though doctors are human and bound to make mistakes this one cost me a lot of unnecessary suffering.
