Unwilling to Accommodate Disabilities
I have cookie bite hearing loss that makes it difficult to understand conversational speech so I rely heavily on visual cues for communication. I avoid using phones because constantly asking people to repeat themselves triggers my anxiety disorder. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Rosen to check my hearing so I filled out the online appointment request form on his website and included a note about my phone anxiety asking to contact me only by email. Dr. Rosen responded by email telling me to call for an appointment, in complete disregard for my mental health.

He is intimidating He doesn't let me talk Gets angry if you refuse lidocaine or for anything really. He may be good at his profession as people say but I can't tell I spent 25.00 on a cab just to get intimidated He's condescending! Not recommended

Dr. Rosen and his staff of Tawanda and Angelica were just amazing with my 89 year old mother. To have surgery at her age was a major concern for all of us. Dr. Rosen took every opportunity to make us all feel that mom was in the best hands. Not only did her surgery go well, she had a speedy recovery. His staff arranged surgery to accommodate our schedules and the necessary tests needed to ensure her vitals were stable. Some might take his telling it like it is attitude as not having a bedside manner but we appreciated his honesty and was there to answer all of our questions.

This review is long overdue. Three years ago, Dr. Rosen diagnosed my then 93 year old mother with oral cancer. Within a few days, Dr. Rosen had a team of Hackensack University oncology doctors on her case with appointments scheduled. Throughout the process, Dr. Rosen played middle man helping to organize her treatments and care. Any time we had issues, he was readily available to talk to us and take action. He is a "straight shooter" and kept me totally informed of my mother's condition, what needed to be done to keep my mom as comfortable as possible. I needed this honesty in handling the situation. If you need a hand holding, fluffy bedside manner, he is not for you. We needed an intelligent, knowledgable, approachable/available, honest doctor to take charge of my mother's cancer, therefore, Dr. Arie Rosen was just that. I thank him for all he did.

Dr. Arie Rosen is a brilliant man. Unilaterally respected amongst his peers, he is also a man full of compassion and genuine concern for his patient’s well being. I had visited with numerous ENT Specialists throughout a rather complicated matter, and when informed that I was now under the care of Dr. Rosen, they were all unanimous in their approval, praising Dr. Rosen not only as a gifted surgeon, but also as a most caring human being. God forbid one ever finds themselves with serious health issues, specifically problems within the head or neck. If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in this situation, do yourself and all of your loved ones a great favor - get an appointment with Dr. Rosen and give yourself the best possible chance at recovery, it might very well end up saving your life. Also, Tywanda, the Assistant to Dr. Rosen at his office, is an absolute living angel, incredibly helpful in all aspects of patient care.

Dr. Rosen is a true professional. He examined me and told me he believed in telling it as it is -- I told him I wouldn't have it any other way. He confirmed his diagnosis with a CT scan, called me with the results and immediately scheduled surgery. His staff was very helpful. I had surgery, which went very well, and I am currently recovering. Dr. Rosen did a great job with my surgery and I couldn't be happier with the results. I would highly recommend him.

Nasty, rude and arrogant. Horrible doctor. A smile would break this guys face. Barked at me if I said anything twice. Office moldy. I would never go back. Would have told him off, but no use arguing with people like that. This man should not be working with the public.

Dr. Rosen is a solid professional doing his job very well. Some may see his manners being too straightforward. However, I personally enjoyed it. I don't need a sweet talk, but rather getting a problem fixed. This guy was able to save my voice after performing total thyrodectomy (and more) on me few weeks ago. So far so good. I am very pleased for his services. I can highly recommend this doctor to others.
