A bit rushed and one of my shots was painful. Her manor is good though. No explanation was given about the days after the injection and I had already made some plans. There was a 4 day lapse of time that I had to make changes in order to meet the requirement. More explanation was needed and the shots were rushed.

The check in was great they were very timely for my appointment and Dr,Almony took the time to explain to me my eye condition.

Dr Almony is highly skilled, & highly qualified . She’s kind, gentle & caring in the very stressful procedure of eye injections.

The efficiency of Carolina Eye Associates out does any other physician's office that I have been to! I do have reservations, however, on the time Doctors spend with patients - at least the two I have come in contact with. Doctors give lots of information as if by rote - without consideration of how the patient is understanding. Yes, they do ask if there are questions, but don't wait long for any answers. When I saw Dr Almony. She gave me a lot of information and because I was rather upset with the diagnosis not all of it registered and I told her that I needed to process all she had given me. She then dictated a memo to Dr Bowling and proceeded to leave. I left - not a very happy camper! I go to 'Payment(?)' area and have this paper presented with instructions to fill out. No explanation what-so-ever-something about somebody paying for the shots. I still don't understand. I do not know how to contact Dr Almony with my questions NOR to get info on what that paper is all about!

Dr. Almony is an exceptional Retinal Specialist. She diagnosed me with MACULAR DEGENERATION and saved the vision in my right eye. She very gently talked me through the eye injections which lessened the discomfort. I am ever grateful for her care and concern.

Having the eyes worked on can be stressful. Dr. Almony makes me feel comfortable and relaxed with her cheerful attitude, smile and her laugh too. Her co-workers really like her and enjoy working with her. Yes, they've told me. I'm released from her care now but if I have any problems in the future Dr. Almony is who I will be going to.

I felt extremely confident in all stages of my care.

I appreciated the time spent explaining my condition and treatment. Dr. Almony was easy to speak with and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Almony is very efficient and informative. Will take the time to discuss my care and any options. I feel comfortable with her. This is vital as the bottom line is my eyesight.

Just wish appointments didn’t have to much wait time

She is professional and kind. She has wonderful assistants. I’ve no doubt I would be blind without her. She is also always cheerful, very gentle and takes the time to actually inquire as to my well being. I am extremely thankful to her and for her.

I was referred to Dr Almony by my regular eye doctor because of a recent and sudden change in my vision. While the diagnosis wasn’t positive, Dr Almony was kind, patient, and thorough. My questions were answered and a treatment plan was discussed and decided upon. While I am often slow to trust, I am comfortable with her taking care of me going forward. Everyone at Carolina Eye treated me with respect, which I appreciate.
