I recently had the pleasure of undergoing emergency hand surgery with Dr. Yaghoubian, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From our initial consultation, it was clear that Dr. Yaghoubian is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely attentive. She listened carefully to my concerns and provided clear, direct treatment without the typical delay at Tarzana hospital. The surgery itself went flawlessly, and I woke up pain-free, which was a pleasant surprise. The recovery at home has been smooth and reassuring. Dr. Yaghoubian’s skill and approach have been outstanding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to choose her again for any future hand or aesthetic procedures. Her care has been exceptional, and I feel fortunate to meet her and to have been in her hands during this difficult situation.

Worst experience I have ever had with a doctor's office. I was told the procedure I needed done needed insurance approval, absolutely fine, I worked in the medical field for 6 years and understand the process. I decided to call my insurance company a few days after the appointment to see if there was anything that I could do to move the approval along a bit quicker, when I made the call I was told by insurance that there was nothing in the system pending approval. Upon hearing this I called the doctor's office back and asked them if they had submitted for the approval and was told SEVERAL times over day span that it was no longer in their hands and we were waiting on the insurance company to approve it with the company that provides the product/medication that I needed. In sort the office lied about submitting approval and didnt admit they didnt do anything yet until I got insurance on the phone to counter their blame on the insurance company.

I've been debating several months about writing this review. I scheduled an appointment, arrived early and still had to wait over 30 mins. During my consult I felt rushed, only general details about the surgery provided, seemed annoyed with my questions and more concerned about me knowing I would have to pay $500 out of pocket for her "special scar cream" and post opt appointments. I understand the doctor is asked the same questions countless of times however treat each client / potential client as an individual "special". Upon leaving the office i noticed they are giving clients a giftcard if you give them a five star review. REALLY!!! I didn't feel confident after my consult and called the next day to ask them to not go any further with submitting forms for pre-approval. Several weeks later I receive a bill from my insurance carrier over $1650.00 after the insurance denied the majority of it, I was left to pay about $250.00 for a 30 minute wait and 10 or less min consult.

Thank you Dr. Yahhoubian for encouraging my son to persist with the low cost approach (rather than try a surgery that would have been much more involved and not guaranteed to produce better results) and taking the extra 3 minutes to rewrap the bandage/splint.

Dr Arezou Yaghoubian has been treating me for the last 3 years in all the excellent treatments i have had done to enhance my personality in happiness. Very well explained every treatment she has done and with that said EXPERIENCE is bursting thru her knowledge!!! Kind warm staff very positive attitude she is magnificent!!!

Dr. Yaghoubian Tarzana La Hand Institute. I am so upset. I'm having pain in both hands. I made an appt with Dr Y. I'm disabled and struggled to get to the appointment today. When I made the appointment I told the appointment maker to be sure to tell the doctor I need the shots today. After waiting and paperwork etc. the doctor tells me she doesn't have the medication in stock. I'm a retired pharmacist. I know she could borrow from the hospital across the street or the Rheumatoligist on the first floor. She refused to do so. I'm very upset. Just wanted to share my experience

Hi Dr Yaghoubian, I wanted to personally thank you for taking such good care of our little girl Skyler. We could not have asked for a better plastic surgeon and under the severe circumstances we could not have asked for or expected a more beautiful stitch job. Amazing doctor, compassionate and kind. I was treated for a hand disorder and the office and staff were amazing. When treatment no longer worked and surgery was scheduled, I was in very competent hands with Dr. Yaghoubian. I highly recommend her.

I went in to see Doctor Yaghoubian because one of my nasal cavities collapsed after I broke my nose from a surfing accident. I had a hard time breathing, the bridge of my nose was displaced, and had a significant cut underneath my left eye. Dr. Yaghoubian was quick to help me with scheduling an appointment for surgery in the same week as the accident! Rude. No bedside manner. Does not explain anything or put her patient at ease. She treated me as if I was beneath her. When I arrived for an appointment on a Monday that HER STAFF erroneously scheduled for me, she told me to "get out" and that she would not see me or treat me or answer my questions until Friday. She was assigned to me through Worker's Comp for a wrist fracture---I would not choose this doctor if I had a choice. She has shown me zero compassion or understanding. She doesn't care.

Dr Yaghoubian and her staff, were absolutely wonderful, very compassionate and professional. I had a very serious hand injury going in, I was so scared and anxious. After my visit I felt somewhat relieved. I highly recommend her. Jane and Jackie were great.
