Dr. Archana Parikh, MD

Below experience summarizes the experience of 4 individuals I know (in the past year)1. Billing Issues – It depends on the flavor of the day. They can change normal routine visits or follow ups to Diagnostic visit (for visits related to refill prescription) anytime without informing the patient and hit patients with high $$$.2. Struggle scheduling appointments - Good luck getting an appointment with Dr Parikh. As you can see, it is not available this year as of October 3, 2024. I tried getting an appointment for her in the month of April 2024, and the earliest one was available in October 2024 (6 months later). Dr Parikh is mostly un-available. The staff at Baylor, Scott and White (Irving) pressures you to see her Physician Assistant, most of the time.

I've seen Dr. Parikh once - Feb 2023, for a physical - and the visit was very nice. She was thorough, did not rush the appointment, and answered all my questions about labs and recommendations. When I called at the first of March this year to make this year's physical appointment, I was told the soonest appointment was mid October - 7 months away. I appreciate that the office has added 2 physician's assistants, and I accepted an appointment with Jessy who could see me quickly as I require several referrals from a PCP to additional doctors. At my age and with some developing health issues revealed through the lab work, I'm disappointed that there is not better access to the doctor. I did schedule my physical for next spring with Dr. Parikh, and I'm grateful that Jessy has good availability as my treatment is evolving. The office staff are all helpful and efficient, the portal is easy to use, and the wait times once in the office are short.

Dr. Parikh is kind, compassionate and listens…I mean, really listens. She has never made me feel rushed thru an appointment and gets the answers we need.I have been seeing her for 3 years and I only wish I’d found her years ago.

Dr Parikh is caring, prompt and helpful. Questions are answered on the portal quickly and at length as needed. Her team is polite, efficient and call you back. I would highly recommend her to friends and family.
