An excellent clinician with very broad based knowledge of childhood mental health issues. Strong on active family participation in child's mental health. Great educator who has holistic approach to serious mental illnesses. Spent long time in diagnosing and treating a Bipolar Disorder. If you are looking for a 5-10 minutes medication prescription appointment with a psychiatrist go elsewhere. She is a tough master and expect you parents to take responsibility for child's mental health needs. She is a great child health advocate at political and social levels.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Sood?
We scheduled this appointment 3 months ago. First, I understand it's a teaching school but it is hard enough to get a teenager to talk, much less to a dr & even harder for a child on the autism spectrum to talk to a dr with med students in the room. Second, does the doctor really need to be messing with her phone a total of 17 times during the course of the hour consult? And she processed to brush off everything I said as a parent....as she messed w/ her phone. I am not impressed so far.

She is extremely knowledgeable. Not the warmest doctor, but who cares if she knows what she's talking about. Very accurate for medication prescriptions for my 4 year old with autism.
