the time and patience she took to explain things. she showed me things on a TV screen rather than just telling me as I am deaf! Her staff is always pleasant to deal with and handles my needs effectively.

She's a great doctor, but her staff, her husband George are the worst ever. George is very disrespectful to patients. This doctor should go to an office that her husband doesn't work at.I would not recommend that office because of rotten staff. Oh, to get refill on your medication..... lots of luck. Never a call back. Oh my gosh, it is just a bad office!

Dr. Castanares is excellent at what she does and dedicates time to her patients, on the other hand her office staff is horrible and never gets back to you when they say they'll call back. They were supposed to call another medical office so they could authorize the referral so I could get exams done but they never did. I always have to wait from 2 to 3 hours to be seen by the doctor! I am switching to a different doctor because of the office staff's incompetence.

I've seen Dr. Castanares for many years now but will be finding myself another primary. She is caring and kind but the staff turnovers is high and usually not very competent. Either that or they just don't care. I have to continually call to facilitate refills on my prescriptions. This has gone on for years now. Literally. They overbook so wait time is usually very long. Calling is a nightmare unto itself. The doctor should take care of these problems but does not.

Dr. Castanares is a knowledgable and caring physician, however her office staff, extremely long waiting room times, and lengthy holds when phone calls are made is frustrating. There needs to be more than just an empathetic and caring physician to keep my business. There's plenty of PCP's that offers the whole experience and makes the patient feel valuable. I deserve better treatment so I'm finding another primary care that's office staff and wait times aren't an issue.

Dr. Castanares is an amazing doctor. HOWEVER, her office staff is the WORST staff I have EVER encountered. They are rude, disrespectful, irresponsible, and lazy. Her office manager, I believe his name is Jorge, is unbearable to speak with because of his extremely rude attitude. Every single time I call to make an appointment I end up having to wait 15+ minutes and I constantly get hung up on. On top of that, they bill my insurance way beyond the claims period and expect me to pay for their mista

One of the best informed Dr.'s, she listens to her patients, and takes her time with you. I have recommended family and friends, and they all only have praise for her medical knowledge and bedside matter.

She, herself is a 5+, staff a 5 for friendliness but a 2-3 for efficiency. !!!always put on hold for 15 + min and usually have to hang up and call back 1-2 times ! ALWAYS wait 1-2 hrs in waiting room and then up to 30min wait in exam room. If Dr wasn't Sooooo kind,compassionate, very through with diagnosis, tests and treatment .... I would change??
