Horribly rude, unprofessional, no Compassion
My father who has lung cancer was in St. Joseph hospital with pneumonia, and after the hospital completely ignored oxygen protocol for COPD and caused hypercapnic respiratory failure, Dr. Mandviwala was consulted and said the hospital did everything right and that no cancer doctor would touch him anyway due to his size. He called a bipap machine life support. Dr. Mandviwala was my father’s lung doctor who failed to treat his genetic disorder and COPD for 15 years before this and did not comment on his weight during that time, so long as he collected a paycheck. He told my mother she was cruel for not having my father on hospice despite never before receiving cancer treatment of any kind. His words were cold and cruel and wrong, according to UK. Dad started radiation treatments today and doesn’t need a bipap at all anymore. This ‘doctor’ doesn’t deserve the title and would gladly let patients die rather than be inconvenienced by spending more than 5 minutes looking at x rays.

Rude and Disrespectful
The doctor asked me 6 or 7 questions about my symptoms but did not let me finish a single sentence before interrupting and talking over me. He then ignored me completely and asked the same questions about my symptoms of the friend who accompanied me but does not live with me. He told my friend I don't have lung cancer, medication won't help, make a follow-up visit in 4 months. And walked out. So we walked out too and did NOT make a follow-up appointment.
