Dr. April Palmer, MD

Ruled by her ego and you better not know things, like what an obscure test measures, which still confounds me. Didnt listen when I still had thyroid symptoms then got diagnosed with ADHD and had trouble getting meds due to PA issues where I was getting the runaround and was trying to take care of. Bc my thyroid was too low bc she did not listen to me I was crying a lot on the phone. Don’t know what the front desk people told her but I sure know how she treated me on my next visit. Never in my life have I been treated so terribly by a doctor who did not even try to find out what even happened. So basically I had symptoms from her sub par care and then she treated me terribly bc of it.

My relative was worse after seeing her. She recommend my relative for 'surgeries' through Willis Knighton, then became a doctor affiliated with Willis Knighton hospital. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Do your research!

Dr Palmer is the best primary physician in town. Entire staff is amazing and they all take care of us with respect and punctuality.

This office will not take me as a patient because I have Medicare and TriCare for Life insurance. This is third doctor office that won’t take my insurance. I’m a very healthy 67 yr old with no health issues. On no meds and I eat healthy and take nutritional supplements.

I was changing doctors due to my own doctor's retirement. They took a great deal of information over the phone and said they'd "check it out" and get back to me. It has been over two weeks, and I still haven't heard a word. I have no idea how good/bad she or Kristen may be, but their front desk is entirely unresponsive.

I like Dr Palmer. She's nice and informative and will refer you out to another doctor and make recommendations if you have trouble outside her scope. Her nurse and staff are always kind.

Both Dr. Palmer & Kristen Bass are very caring medical professionals. Both make me feel comfortable & will answer every question I have. Dr. Palmer often sits beside me & listens. She doesn't rush in & out. Their new nurse is great too. I feel I am in capable hands when I am sick.

Dr.Pamer is an excellent provider!! I couldn't ask for a better family doctor!! Incredible bedside manner!

I absolutely love seeing Dr April Palmer!!! She listens and is very thorough! I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a new Dr, because she really makes you feel comfortable!

I left one star because it was not possible to leave less. This doctor and her associates, Kristen Bass, PA are very difficult to deal with. Not to mention how rude her front desk is. They want to get you in and out as quickly as possibly. Terrible bedside manner or really I should say none. I am an older woman who has seen April for years and lately things have changed. I will be firing her as soon as I can find a new doctor that won't push me around or make me feel bad for simply calling.

Do not go to this physician. Her, the PA, and her office employees are rude and gave me the runaround and the PA Kristen Bass did not follow through with what she said she was going to do. Very poor service.

I put a one because I had to; I'd never recommend her or her PA Kristin to anyone. Kristin failed to fax over a prescription and when i noticed at the pharmacy, I called and had to go without it for 3 days. I called about having bad side effects from a new med and she didn't return my call and I'm still Without preventative migraine meds. She actually terminated my care because her lead receptionist lied and said my family who had the right to call was Hostile amongst other untrue things.

Dr. Palmer is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She has helped me through several health issues. I am thankful for her. She is a wonderful doctor who cares deeply about her patients. I always get my lab results back from her in a timely fashion.
