My experiences with Dr. Mayer were positive and helpful. I was going through horrible problems with my teenage son, and with a doctor who was only interested in us until the insurance maxed out for his stay. I was desperate for some real help, and Dr. Mayer was the only one who stepped up to actually help us. I will always be grateful for her.

I did not feel listened to or understood or cared about. She is flaky and doesn't even pay much attention besides that she wants to focus on. I did not ever feel happy there. I was always stressed to go there and relieved to leave.

Dr. Mayer is honestly unstable. She seems like she is more focused on her own interpretation of your issues than how you actually feel. She tries to tell you all the ways you should change, even parts of yourself that you are happy with. It was an unsettling experience.

Dr. Mayer can be a great doctor, but she made me feel not listened to and said things to me that real were pretty insensitive in relation to the conditions I came to talk about. She has a nice office, but she also thinks that she knows best and did give me incorrect information and scolded me for doing something that if I didn't do would have led me to have extreme issues. I left her services after three visits.
