We couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Harris
Our 2 daugthers were DX with eye cancer (5 months & 1 month) in both their right & left eyes. Dr. Harris treated both girls, collaborated with their ped and onc to make sure they were all on the same page, & consulted with other doctors when necessary. She was to the point & discussed treatment options with us before implementing the plan & made sure we were aware of risks & benefits. She took the time to answer our questions. Dr. Harris was able to save both girls' eyes/vision. We tried to spare our girls as much pain as possible & with Dr. Harris' approval we had all blood work (ordered by their onc) done while they were under anesthesia with her. She successfully advocated for our family when the hosp was demanding implemetation of new policies that were detrimental to us after 7 years of visits. We have since moved to TX & the doctor here has continually complimented our daugther's treatment areas saying, "The Dr. who treated her did a fantastic job!" WE AGREE. So Thankful!!

Excellent surgeon
Office is very efficient and they communicate well. Dr Harriss is caring and thorough. She performed surgery to remove hemorrhage in my eye after cataract surgery. My vision was restored. I am so thankful for her.

My first time visit and only time visit. Interestingly most of the bad reviews I see here I could mirror. With some added. Yes she has 25 years experience. Not sure why she felt it was necessary to tell me. Interestingly while she was talking down to me she couldn't do it face to face. Was standing pretty much behind me while she talked not bothering to come around the chair to talk to me. Was rough, and essentially called me a terrible exam because I was very sensitive to her examination light. No inter personal skills at all. My 3 hour visit to this place had her for only maybe 15 minutes just to tell me I ought to have laser surgery. Not because I had important issues to fix but so I wouldn't have to have twice a year exams because I was so bad at examining. I felt really bad but after seeing these reviews... Hey, maybe just maybe... its you? If you were a vet, puppies would probably bite you.

The rudest doctor I have seen in my 82 years. No explanations, rushes in and out, an I spent most of my time sitting in darkened rooms. Run, don’t walk away from this one!

My experience leads me to think Dr. Harris is a very knowledgeable and extremely skilled doctor with no time or patience for personal engagement with me, her patient. She has never once acknowledged my husband, who has accompanied me into the room, for over two years now. She cuts me short when I have questions or concerns, acting irritated to be asked anything. Sometimes, I feel merely more than an eyeball to her. She has literally flipped out on me twice for asking questions regarding my care; yelling at me and rattling off her academic credentials. This is shocking and disheartening, but because I value her impeccable skills, I will continue to see her for my eye disease, but keep my expectations of her behavior realistic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for several years. I am extremely happy with the care she had provided. She has always taken the time to explain diagnosis, treatment, and answers all of my questions. Dr. Harris genuinely cares about her patients well-being. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate doctor.

I drive my neighbor, my mother and my husband to all their doctor appointments and go in with them as they all have memory and hearing problems. I have taken 2 of my family members to see Dr. Harris and on ALL visits she does not take the time to say hello to me or acknowledge that I am there. ALL the doctors over all the years that I have seen have always said hello to the patient and then to the person they are with. NOT Dr. Harris. Very rude. I will not recommend her.

I was at this office for five hours; about 45 minutes of that was involved in tests and 15 minutes with Dr. Harris who was curt, failed to explain things, and did not seem to have the time of day to spend with me explaining my issue.

Dr Harris is a skilled surgeon, repairing a retinal detachment in one eye and multiple tears in the other. This is a busy practice and the pace is hurried. The staff is polite and efficient. I received good care and my surgery went well. Recovery was quick with several follow up visits. Overall I am satisfied with my treatment. If I could make one suggestion it would be to ask Dr Harris to slow down a little and step up her bedside manner. it would help the patient feel less uncertain.
