Great doctor!!!

Dr. Carter treated my father at NMMC in West Point, she was openly hostile when I asked her questions regarding his condition and treatment; she stated that my questions were a “distraction to Her and we’re keeping her from other patients.” I requested that my father be transferred to another facility and she refused the request and responded that if I wanted him at another facility “I could check him out AMA and take him myself.” When she rotated off duty and another physician took over my father’s care the new dr immediately transferred my father, who had a staph infection in his blood and needed surgery to remove an infected port. Her lack of medical knowledge, poor bedside manner and blatant disregard for patient’s wishes were shocking.
