Dr. Aparna Kulkarni, MD

She’s horrible, uncaring, her lack of communication, failure to address patient concern and I have to call for a follow -up, was 40min late for my appointment ,didn’t explain why iam having pain and order me useless test on me . She won’t write me a referral that I needed for my pain. Please avoid Kulkarn!!!If you are really concern about your health, she will not help you at all, she told me go find a different GI specialist.

This was my second in person visit with Dr.Kulkarni. On both occasions I have found her to be caring and focused on trying to solve the problem I have been dealing with for a year .

I had a visit with Dr. Kulkarni for the first time. I am a clinician myself and I have to say I was astonished by her lack of bedside manner and poor attitude. She was 20 min late and when she started the session she did not even acknowledge the long wait. She came across as very self-entitled and arrogant and lost my trust right there. I work with over 23 specialists myself as a clinician and also see patients myself and yes there are times you may be running late but you always inform the patient, acknowledge if you are late, display a courteous manner towards your patient, and show respect to their time as well.

She is unwilling to listen to my concerns as a patient and it is near impossible to ask a question unless you have her face to face. It took over 3 weeks for me to receive my prescription after she had prescribed a medication that was not approved by my insurance. I am beyond frustrated with her lack of concern for her patients.
