Seriously Do Better
No matter what type of doctor you are, you as a professional need to practice what you preach when it comes to caring for your patients like myself. How is it fair that I as the patient wait for 2 months for an appointment, wait 1 hour on the day of my visit, and ONLY get 5 MINUTES with the doctor that is supposed to discuss with me what pain or health problems I have? It is unprofessional to rush me as a patient since I was trying to express my concerns to you so you as the doctor can be able to provide the best care possible. It is not professional to cut me off mid-sentence in the timing of me expressing my health problems. There needs to be more reliable doctors in this field that will care to be there for their patience like myself in an appropriate timely manner because I felt like I did not get the care that I appropriately needed and it was very disappointing.

much like many of the other reviews on here, Dr Chanal & i did not even get to treatment because in our second apt (after a terrible first apt) she hadn’t reviewed my chart to make sure my test results were there. she then got upset with me for being upset with her, for not having everything we needed for that apt (she had 3 weeks) mind you, she was trying to blame the hospital for “not doing their job”,, but why didn’t her staff do theirs then? why didn’t anyone else check my file to make sure whatever needed to be there, was there? because they called me that morning to confirm the apt time, why didn’t they make sure my file was up to date? she told me in that very short apt, that she’d have her team check for the x-rays & call me back to make another apt - never heard from her, or anyone in her office again. talk about professional!

deflects, projects, is rude – Jul 09, 2021

Didn't even get to have a visit. Dr sent in a referral, called they said they go over case by case basis. Mentioned to call 7-10 days later - called 3 weeks later yesterday to find out they're booked til NEXT YEAR! Total waste of my time and on the hunt for the 3rd rheumatologist who will help diagnose my autoimmine disease. No compassion or customer service whatsoever, and very disappointed.

Dr. Chahal deserves a "zero" rating. I was a new patient of hers and only had two appointments in total. She was late the first time by an hour and the second time by 40 mins. This is not including the 15 mins I arrived early on my telephone appointment. I've only seen her face once for 5 seconds which is the only way I knew this was her. Her video was on then she immediately turned it off, even though I have to be on camera. If you try to tell her that she doesn't listen, dismisses, and or was being disrespectful. She will interrupt you non stop with a lack luster apology (only when she's been called out on it). I literally had to tell her to stop being in defense mode for 5 seconds so I could finish what I was saying. I only wanted to let her know what she does so she doesn't do it to future patents and that I would be changing doctors. She does not respect that people have jobs and take time off to see her. You would need to take a half day if you do that honestly.

She's a terrible doctor. Uncaring and insensitive. She did everything to just ignore my issues and brush me off. Trying to transfer me to Bay area doctors and not treat me properly. Go to her if you don't want any proper treatment and a caring, competent doctor. Now if you want subpar treatment, she's the doctor for you.

If I could give her a "zero" rating i would. Not only have I waited up to 2 hours to see her, she moved her offices and failed to notify me. I arrived at an appointment at the old office location and saw a note posted to the door saying they had moved. Fortunately I was familiar with the area so I could make my appointment at the new location. What kind of doctor does not review test results before seeing a patient? She did and wanted to know why the results were not in my chart...um that is not my job. She also asked me if I had seen the results online (which I had) and asked me if they were ok. Who has the medical degree here? Her staff is rude and cannot get the billing correct. Never. I have not seen her in over a year and am still getting billed for her services.I have double coverage and do not pay anything. I am so glad I do not see her anymore.

I have been a patient for about 1 year now. I love the remodel. I love the atmosphere. I love the personal in depth conversation she has with me when I have my follow up. She and the medical assistants truly KNOW me. They KNOW who I am and care. I like this office and regardless that I travel to see her an hour.......she is worth it. I am still able to work full time and work around the schedule, for the "most" part....they are not tooooo tooooo late. (I SAY THAT lightly, because it does happen) Expect to wait for great care. Just, expect it. Plan for it.

It has been my experience as a new patient that Dr. Chahal and staff are all very friendly, professional and caring. All of our questions were answered and we appreciate the openness of Dr. Chahal and letting us get to know her. Treatment took a while to start, but everyone must understand that some things are out of her control and rest in the hands of the insurance company. So thankful she came to Manteca.
