Keeps you waiting too long. Walked out.
Got there before my appointment to do new patient paperwork. Office staff promptly put me in a makeshift exam room. The room and furniture were outdated, poorly ventilated and rather dark. Kept me in it for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I walked out. This Doctor over schedules and under delivers. I’m sure there are better places that respect their patients.

Good person and a great Doctor.
I had seen Dr Andy Sharma for many years without issue. I was given on site steroid shots for a bad rotary cup and my pain management experience was without issue. Dr Sharma is a caring, compassionate Dr, and a good human being overall. Would highly recommend!

Not bad, helpful
I am in chronic back and SI joint pain from failed lumbar fusion. I take a low grade narc which knocks pain down but not out.He has helped me best he can due to awful regs against opiates. I was offered a combo of meds which allowed me to get some sleep. Work with him, You can at least get some relief. His staff polite and helpful. My only complaint is wait time and Villages office to small.

Great facility
I've been a patient for around 3 years and have been happy with my care. I was seeing a Physician Assistant that was wonderful and actually listened. I didn't think I could find anyone I would be happier with, but I was wrong. I'm seeing a different PA there now and she is unbelievable. I have other health issues (not pain related) that she has actually helped me with. She is very caring, doesn't make you feel rushed and goes I feel she is what all medical professionals should strive to emulate. Also, I've have problems with getting some medications from the pharmacy and Johnathan has been excellent to always help. I go every other month and despite the obviously busy practice, the young man at the counter always greets me by name. It's nice to feel welcomed and acknowledged. Very, very happy with everything.

A fantastic doctor
Dr Sharma has been a fantastic doctor. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, which is a degenerative disease, in which your back if fused together. Leaving a person without mobility He has really transformed my life, that helps me perform my job a daily activities. Truthfully if it isn’t for this medication, I would be in bed all day. He has allowed me the opportunity to live my life, without pain that would have left me incapacitated. However today I was informed that my urine test came back positive for morphine. What ? I never have taken morphine in my whole life! When I saw Dr Day today she treated me like a criminal, and excused herself. I don’t understand. What happened? I was advised to call back in a week.

If you can go anywhere else, you probably should. Gross level of incompetent office, billing and admin help. Your phone calls will not be answered or returned, not will your meds with pre auth required be filled without numerous complaints. I've suffered with this man for more than a year and enogh is enough.

I started seeing Dr.Sharma in February ‘21 on a referral from my PCP. I have degenerative joint disease, a chronic illness. Because I take a low dose opiate medication for pain (infrequently) my PCP was required to refer me for pain management since they no longer prescribe any medication classed as a narcotic. I too felt the stigma of being classed as a “drug seeker/abuser” but this is the result of the DEA’s effort to stop the abuse of narcotics/opiates. The office staff were very professional. I had a bit over an hour wait for my first appointment.?? Dr. Sharma’s office is very busy and well organized. I appreciate the tele-health check-ins where I was given ample opportunity to ask and answer questions. Doctors in the pain management field see a broad spectrum of patients of all ages. Some patients are going to have addiction issues they are unwilling to acknowledge or are not ready to address....which will make the doctor unpopular with the patient.

He has sticky fingers. Especially when it comes to your yearly deductible. 2 years in a row he got too greedy. I let the first year slide but the 2nd year I asked about my credit numerous times and he kept saying he didn't owe me a credit. On a Friday during my appt. I was out of meds. and he thru me out of his office with no script. The following Monday I received a check in the mail from him for about 123.00. What a thief!!!!!!

What abomination this person is. A doctor? NO. My wife is a nurse of 25 years with a very bad back where she can not walk at times. She will ask fo and take No opiates. This quack agreed that her condition was bad yet he offered No treatment what so ever. No local shots to help and there are many available. This louse made us wait three months between visits, NEVER returned phone calls EVER. I detest his lack of methods and caring. STAY AWAY.

Dr. Sharma is very knowledgeable. He is an osteopath and has a broad working knowledge of orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, sports medicine, trauma, and psycho-pharmacology. However, she will prescribe you medicine that makes you physically dependent and masksyour symptoms. After years of seeing him monthly, he couldn’t even remember the name I preferred to go by, and would answer my questions condescendingly, not informing me of potential side effects. A Legalized drug dealer.

He is one of the few doctor's that I have been to who actually listens to his patients. Although the wait times are long, the new staff is friendly and they are shortening the process. He has helped me tremendously. Highly recommend.

My daughter missed 1 appt. due to a family emergency and Dr. Sharma dropped my daughter as a patient, knowing there are no other pain management doctors within driving distance who take her insurance. ABSOLUTELY INDIFFERENT to his patients’ circumstances, deliberately leaving my daughter in dibilitating pain and nearly unable to leave the house since her pain keeps her confined to bed most days and spending most nights crying as well as fighting an addiction he intentionally created! BEWARE!!!!!

He is arrogant, self important, condescending and very hateful. A true God complex. He treats and accuses most patients of being an addict or a dealer. Does not take the time to listen to his patients. His attitude does not give his patients confidence in his decisions. He overbooks, clearly in it for the money. His staff is equally as rude. The only voice he wants to hear is his own. I wait to see him crash and burn.
