Has good bed side manners.....has a great personality and very professional. I also have telehealth appt with his PA who is as professional.

Everyone is very nice and friendly starting with the ladies out front then the lab and finally the dr’s assistants!! The waiting time to see him can vary. This last time it didn’t take long!!! He is worth waiting for though. He takes his time answers your questions!!And makes sure you get your answers!!

Wait time is usually 1 hr 30 min to 1 hr 45 min. I was given a question sheet to assess emotional and physical well being. No one looked at the information I supplied and addressed my issues and or concerns. I felt like i wasn't even a number.

Dr. Santillan Gomez saved my life. After having abdominal pain and bloating for a few months, I went to see my OBGYN. After she reviewed my ultrasound, she saw a cyst that looked suspicious and referred me Dr. Santillan. Dr. Santillan met with me and discussed a radical hysterotomy. He explained the pros and cons and was extremely thorough and kind. On November 8, 2023, I had the surgery performed and Dr. Santillan discovered that my mass was cancer. At 41 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Due to his precise surgery, he removed the mass just in time. Dr. Santillan caught my cancer at Stage 1A. It is rare to catch Ovarian Cancer so early and I do not have to go through Chemo. Instead, I will be monitored closely for the next 5 years. There are no words to describe my gratitude, I am not sure how one could possibly put these feelings on paper. I am forever grateful for Dr. Santillan.

He takes his time to explain everything and what to expect. He talks to you like a friend not like some doctors do. He makes you feel very comfortable and safe.

Dr. Santillan has been my oncologist since my diagnosis in 04/2018. He did both surgeries that have led me to be on remission for 5 yrs now. I have received nothing but excellent care from him and his staff. I'm a traveler and so I travel to San Antonio to f/up with him. He is the type of doctor that tells you, 'If you have any problems, call me personally.'
