Dr. Antonio Asis, MD

He was my OB-GYN during both of my pregnancies. He hears out the patient patiently, explains medical decisions well, and very cooperative in labor and delivery. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Asis is THE BEST!! Even if you don't live in Denton, I had an ob-gyn totally disregard my symptoms and Dr. Asis was recommended by my primary doc - what a great day for me. He is kind and caring and a GREAT surgeon with compassion and smiling eyes. Every woman should be lucky enough to have him as her doc. All the probs everyone told me would come after my surgery never happened and he kept close watch on my when I didn't do well from the anesthesia. Best doc ever!

Dr. Asis is the nicest, most thorough, OBGYN doctor in the Denton area. He takes his time with you. He explains everything as he's doing it. He sits and talks with you, so no rushing. He cuts up and can even make you laugh. He makes you feel welcome and at a safe place. We all know that it's never fun being at the gyno doctor lol My (gyno doctor) was on vacation so he was the doctor on call (since my youngest that's now about to be 11 decided to come 2 week's early.) He ended up delivering her and he agreed to take a picture holding her afterwards so I could keep for keep sake. Year's later I needed a gyno doctor for a check up and went to his office yesterday. Hands down was satisfied.. I give him 5 stars and would definitely recommend him.. :)

Dr. Asis was polite, caring, and non-judgmental. Seriously, delightful for an appointment that is typically highly uncomfortable.

He cares for my daughter as well as me. He was the FIRST OBGYN to actually listen to both of us. She’s a teenager so we felt like other dr’s were not believing her and her symptoms. He actually did!

Being new to Texas, I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Asis when a need for his specialty of care arose. He has an amazing bedside manner and quickly put me at ease in what could be a very anxious time. He is caring and it shows in the way he interacts with his patients.

I was afraid no one would love up to my previous OB/GYN but Dr. Asis did! Although I had to wait a little (he was delivering a baby at the time of my appt) I would certainly recommend him. Answers all questions thoroughly. Very knowledgable!

Dr. Asis has made my second pregnancy one to remember. He was very thorough and validated every concern I brought to his attention. I was able to be open and share alot of important information with him because of the way he built a comfortable professional relationship with me from my first 8 week appointment. His nurses were absolutely wonderful and always made me feel comfortable. I will be recommending Dr. Asis to all my expecting mothers friends. Thank Dr. Asis!

Dr. Asis was not my doctor, but he was on call at the hospital when I started pushing. He was very kind and encouraging! The only thing I didn't like was that he told me to hold my breath while pushing (directed pushing). I wish I had been able to continue listening to my body and pushing naturally. If you are looking for a completely natural birth experience, he may not be your best bet, or at the very least, discuss pushing ahead of time with him.
