Dr. Antoine Johnson, DDS

We waited six months to do wisdom teeth removal on winter break only to learn that the surgeon could not perform the surgery as scheduled! His certification lapsed is what we were told. Not sure how this happens but very concerning.

I had a molar extracted by Dr. Johnson last week. I was very nervous thanks to a previous unpleasant experience with another oral surgeon. The experience with Dr. Johnson's practice was positive from beginning to end. The front desk staff and dental assistant were friendly and supportive. Dr. Johnson has a wonderful bedside manner and is very patient with a good sense of humor. If I ever need an oral surgeon again, it will definitely go to Dr. Johnson.

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Johnson. She has a vasovagal response to needles and had an episode at the consultation (no needles) when hearing about the procedure. Dr. Johnson and his staff responded quickly and kindly by giving her oxygen, a cold cloth and monitoring her until she was better. Dr. Johnson had a kind approach and a sense of humor about the episode. The surgery itself went without incident and her recovery was as expected, no issues. I would recommend him without any hesitation.

Wisdom teeth removal (Impacted) for two family members. Dr. Johnson did a great job explaining the procedure and making the patients feel comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Johnson. He is a kind, caring doctor and does a fabulous job as well. I will trust him for any future needs in oral surgery.

dr johnson was great. I was very nervous but he explained every thing about my situation and the procedure, and answered all the questions that I had, which put me at ease. He was gentle and explained what I was going to feel during the procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone who has anxieties and fears about dental procedures. I had the pleasure of volunteering for RAM and was assigned to work with Dr Johnson as an assistant. I had a blast, he was incredibly patient with teaching me how to assist him. He has the best bedside manner I have ever witnessed and is quite skilled. Each patient was thrilled with his efficient work and humble demeanor. Dr. Johnson was awesome. I have never experienced a dentist like him and Dr. Cheryl Adams (she referred me to Dr. Johnson). Dr. Johnson took his time and answered all of my many questions. He needed a 3D x-ray to confirm if he could do a certain procedure. When the results came back confirming that he couldn't, he even credited me the cost of the x-ray! The office is beautiful and comfortable. I was extremely anxious about my extraction appointment and everyone in the office went out of their way to put me at ease and had me so comfortable I completely forgot why I was there. The procedure was painless. PAINLESS. He explained everything he was doing and kept conversation going so much that I didn't even notice the time. The icing on the patient care cake, his office sent me flowers at home yesterday to thank me. Unbelievable. I mean that is just showing off :) It took me almost a month to get a non-emergent appointment but he was so worth the wait.

The office was totally uncaring and incompetent. No human decency.

My mother who is her 70’s and has some hearing loss needed a tooth extraction. She was recommended to Dr. Johnson. Upon entering the office, staff were kind, spoke loud and clearly, and were attentive. Dr. Johnson and his assistants were kind, smart and light humored-able to kid around with her and keep the atmosphere light. All went smoothly. Later that evening she needed to talk Dr. Johnson and he was easily reached with one phone call and great advice. We thought they were all great.

Dr. Johnson pulled my wisdom teeth he did an excellent job I had no pain what so ever never had to even take pain medication. I highly recommended dr. Johnson office he is by far the best oral surgeon in Ellicott City

Dr. Johnson saved my life after poor experience with Carroll County oral surgeon. Dr. Johnson was careful, professional and exceptional. I highly recommend him and his office personnel are also nice and friendly. My experience with him dates back a few years, but I owe him this review at the very least. I am thankful for him to this day.

Dr. Johnson was amazing with my 8 year old daughter. She was really scared as most 8 year olds would be, and he put her as well as us parents at ease. She was in and out with no tears at all. I am so grateful for him and his staff being compassionate towards their patients, especially a young one that can need a little extra TLC.

Dr Johnson & team are amazing. Everyone is truly in your corner: the receptionists, the assistants, the Dr, everyone.They comforted my 17 year old who I knew was going to get up & leave the office once any sign of needles or gadgets were seen. They were so delicate with her while affirming her strength & courage...to the point that she was able to look at the needle being given. Call me crazy, but I actually felt a family-like love in this office. I'm more than impressed with this office.

Very compassionate doctor. Great chairside manners. He listens to needs of tbe patients. He is patient and humble.
