Dr. Antoaneta Mueller, MD

Dr. Mueller is fine, her staff is short with me. They have dropped my prescription 4 times in the last six months. This means many calls to the pharmacy, back to her staff (who assures me all is on track), and over to my insurance. Currently on the phone for over 2 hours with my provider trying to straighten out a prescription that she did not authorize, despite being assured by her staff it was done. SIGH. I will try to find someone else.

It has taken me 3 months to write this review, but she is by far the worst OBG/YN. She delivered my daughter in September 2023 and when I say she is RUDE, no bedside manner I was in labor for 15 HRS natural birth I have ovarian cyst and IBS. Well I let out a loud scream while pushing she shouted at me HEY NO SCREAMING I glanced at my spouse he mouthed just focus, as I’m pushing I can see my vagina getting ready to tear apart I’m saying to her I’m splitting she is just looking at my vagina like she is in a trance and my vagina splits (I signed to have a Episiotomy) ok after 3-5 min my baby girl comes out. Now it’s time deliver the placenta however it got stuck on a cyst she is pulling and I’m like wait wait she shouts and says HEY WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? I said wait. I had to go under to have the placenta removed. Also when she was stitching me certain parts I was telling her I could feel it. Horrible

Her bedside manner has a lot to be desired. I take a more holistic approach to my health and she did not respond to that well. Pretty much wrote me off after that. A waste of my time. Only went to her because the NP I was going to is no longer practicing. She was a gem.

Do not go to her. She is all about money. She makes you go back to her several times for something she could do in one visit, so she can get paid for each visit. Very dishonest! I don't even trust the pap she did on me. It was so quick that I don't think she even got a good sample.

Excellent, she is the best doctor in the world. I live in Downey and when she was permanently moved to Manhattan beach, I didn’t mind driving all the way there because she is caring, understanding, compassionate and knowledgeable. Btw, I been a patient of hers for 5 years, I 100% recommend.

She showed up 30 minutes late to our first appointment and then proceeded to talk over me without letting me explain my patient history or what I needed. Her suggestions were very insensitive and not at all right for my situation. She then proceeded to be a nightmare to work with during the following weeks when my insurance company didn't want to fill a prescription. She's incapable of writing coherent emails and kept playing phone tag with 3-4 day intervals between calls and then not picking up when I called back. I would never recommend this doctor. Her bedside manner is poor, she has terrible communication skills, and she didn't solve any of my issues. In fact, all the extra stress of dealing with her made my problems worse!

Didn’t do what I made the appointment for. Abrupt. Difficult to reach or get written results.

I went to two other GYNs in South Bay before I found Dr. Mueller. She is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I also have had minor surgery with her and found her to be excellent. The office in MB is also very clean and new! Absolutely have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mueller!

Had her staff call me with test results and no explanation. Dispassionate and no bedside manner. Would definitely not recommend

I would never go back to this doctor. She was very incompetent and could not assist me with my issues. Also, kept looking at her watch as if I was wasting her time. Last time I check myself and my insurance company pays her salary.
