Dr. Smith was an embarrassment to Columbia pediatrics. Extremely belittling, rude, and showed zero care for our concern of our sick 18 month old. Going as far to ask if this was “his first time being sick” because we were apparently overreacting. (Throwing up and a 103° fever is a serious thing in my mind) Finally Agreed to do a strep test “if it would help us not be stressed all weekend about it”. He is definitely not in it for quality care and it shows very blatantly.

I never in all my visits to the doctor felt so patronized and belittled. I honestly can’t believe this doctor is still employed. Zero respect, zero bedside manner.

Terrible bed side manner. Spoke to me like I was a child and caused my daughter unnecessary discomfort to show a medical student her red throat. He is a quantity doctor not quality. You can definitely tell he is desensitized to children and their discomfort.
