When you visit, make sure you have any labs and reports in hand that will back up your verbal history. I made that mistake and got nothing from the visit. He seems to be one of those doctors that go by the objective, “if I can’t see it on paper, it never happened.”. He had his mind made up about my issues and focused on that no matter what I said. I could go on, but I won’t. Suffice it to say, it was my worst physician visit ever.

Unable to give diagnosis. Taking my recommendations and prescribing medication. Staff are also angry for whatever reason.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sgouros for one year. He has been wonderful in diagnosing my IBS. He went above and beyond for me when I was scheduling my colonoscopy and his office was very accommodating to my scheduling needs. His nurse Romilda is wonderful and always so helpful when I need an appointment or assistance. Dr. Sgouros is a great GI Dr!

Dr. Sgouros is very nice, however it is impossible to get office staff on the phone. The phone numbers do not work and obviously for a doctor's office this is unacceptable. When you do get someone on the phone, they are unprofessional. There are plenty of other offices nearby with working phones and capable staff. I suggest Dr. Sgouros look into equipping himself with the same.

The Doctor is OK, but the woman at the front office is rude, and always angry. Be ready for a good berating session when you call, or go to the office. If you need help with precipitations etc, good luck with her...

Dr Sgouros is a very good doctor. I have been treated by him for Diverticulitis for the past year. He takes the time to explain and answer all your questions. He has always been available to talk on the phone and has always been there when I needed help. His professional office staff treat you with kindness and are very courteous and accommodating.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sgouros for about seven years and being his patient has raised my standards on how I think a doctor should treat a patient. Dr. Sgouros goes above and beyond when it comes to making sure all bases are covered. He truly listens and makes the best medical decisions based on me as an individual not statistics or how quickly he can rush me out of his office. Very rarely do you find a doctor who quickly returns your calls or better yet calls you to follow up.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sgouros for more than fifteen years. The first ten for routine colonoscopy visits. I moved from the area and came down with pancreatitis. Upon release from the hospital I found a local gastroenterologist who had I followed his advice I would have redeveloped the pancreatitis. I returned to Dr Sgouros who examined my labs and ordered a MRI which disclosed the need for immediate action. Dr Sgouros is a most knowledgeable and outstanding Dr. You have found the best.
