Dr. Anthony Mimms, MD

My visit was a few weeks ago. Appointments are nearly always on time. The routine to see a nurse then Dr Mimms is perfect. The nurses are knowledgeable & try very hard to get the job done. Dr. Mimms is kind and understanding about my issues. Good experience.

First the staff are great ..Dr.Mimms always greet you with a warm smile and listen to you, and he talks to you so you understand what's going on.Iam just so blessed to have found him for my doctor

Dr. Mimms is one of those rare doctors who understands the severity of pain and how it affects your body, mind and spirit. He never discounts your pain. Dr. Mimms listens intently. He explains things clearly. He has a calm and very kind countenance. Trust me from a person who has seen MANY doctors for my many ailments Dr. Mimms is one in a million. I would recommend him to everyone and I have done so. His assistant Ebony is just the same. She is smart, kind, patient and extremely proficient.

Doctor Mimms is a doctor that actually takes time to listen to his patients. He doesn’t make you feel like you are on a 5-15 minutes timer. He is very open to what your health problems are and doesn’t give a patient false hope if your condition is life long” he gives you options and a goal to work on to keep you from getting worse. He completely understands his patients. I enjoy seeing this doctor because he doesn’t make you feel judged based on your beliefs and if a doctor can help you physically and spiritually, You got the perfect Team. I would highly recommend Dr.Mimms because he is kind, compassionate and cares about the patient as a person and not just another patient. His staff are very kind and they actually smile in this office. I usually dread seeing a doctor and I can honestly say Dr. Mimms and his staff make all the difference when your feeling down about your health and they just have the charisma of putting a welcome smile on your face as you come in.

I been going to Dr Mims for many years now. He is very understanding and does! Listen to his patients. His staff has always been good to me. We have to remember they have a very busy job to.In the past I have had problems with Ebony but we have to remember we all are not good with the way we talk to others at times. Dr Mims is a Good Christian man that I total trust with my health care management ??

Thank god for dr Mimms as he helped me out immediately after my visit today with one shot,thank you for caring about your patients, may the lord keep pouring blessings on you, and thank you again! I’m scared of shots,but I didn’t feel a thing! He’s just so awesome there are no words for him or his staff,except beautiful and awesome,friendly,courteous and caring!

I love Dr.Mimms & His Staff He Is Caring & I Have A Auto Immune Disease So Sometimes I Don't Tolerate Some Medications But He Listens & Trys Different Ones That Work I've Been With Him For 6 Years & Very Happy & He Even Will Pray With Me Godspeed .

I have seen dr mimms for years at his old office and the new one he is well worth the wait to get in in my opinion his staff is difficult but i,try and rember they see alot of people who do not feel gopd and do not really wamna,be there so,they are upset and not in good moods so it makes there jobs harder Dr mimms has always at least been pmeasent but normally he is a verry upbeat good doctor and I would not recomend any other doctor to a family/friend who needed a pain doctor keep doing what you do doctor

Dr. Mimms has seen my father and other friends at the Barrington. He is absolutely horrible, has no compassion for patients, and doesn’t listen to patients wants/needs. With the complexity of diseases the elders have, he doesn’t seem to understand how to work with others to actually help his patients. Every time he meet with us, we spend weeks working with our regular doctors to fix which doesn't help his patients heal (which they are there at his facility for). Instead he just keeps prescribing pain meds and other mind numbing medications that keep patients from being able to speak up for themselves and actually get better (which is what they are at the rehabilitation and skilled center to do). He does it to keep getting money and flaunts it with his arrogant demeanor and comments. He has gone as far as lying to a patient because their family and their neurologist strongly disagreed with his pushing his drugs and agenda - he lied about what medications do and how it will make them fee

I've been going to Dr. Mimms for years good doctor but his staff is horrible not professional. I'm disabled and needed to use the restroom they told too go downstairs told them I couldn't and his MA Ebony was so rude and unprofessional don't know how too talk to the patients told me too get in my car and drive around to the back told Dr. Mimms don't have control of his staff asked me what did I say. He's a good doctor but his staff is horrible!!

We were referred by another Dr. I have never been so displeased with a professional environment. The front desk staff has since changed however it's always been a rather hostile interaction between front desk and client. I have now been waiting two months for them to fax paperwork on a prescription to my pharmacy. I have called multiple times and each time my voicemail either does not get returned or they say they will do it and yet here we are still not done. Dr Mimms also seems to rush us out.

Dr. Anthony Mimms is the best doctor I've ever been to. He cares about you and will guide you through your pain. I would tell anyone who would listen to ask for him.

Dr. Mimms is compassionate and very knowledgeable. He takes time to get to know patients to better meet their needs. I am very happy with my treatment plan. Once you get past the front desk this is a comfortable and environment. I have, though, experienced some unpleasant encounters with staff. It is very hard to get phone calls returned and in a timely manner. The secretaries seem unfriendly and somewhat unapproachable, rarely smile, and frequently text on their cell phones between patients.

Very good experience he takes the time to listen he really seems to care about his patients

The Staff is the WORST I have ever seen, never answers the phone, no respect for the patients, the Dr .may good but the staff reflects heavily on the Dr.they should be replaced with caring more understanding staffing

My x wife somehow got me into Dr Mimms. I had a family Dr doing my pain meds it was way out of control. He was trying to help me I love my family Doc. I have had a burning the nerve roots, then full blown spine operation, I still am scared of opiate pain control. When Dr. Mimms walks into the room you feel your spirit lift your soul lift he talks to you , he does not judge you. In this bad time. This man stands tall, He stands for the people , the poor the broken, RUN FOR OFFICE

TERRIBLE ,TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FRONT DESK VERY RUDE-NOT ONLY TO CUSTOMER BUT TO THEMSELVES THEY DO NOT CARE FOR THERE PAITENTS /YELLING ETC THE DOCTOR TOLERATE THIS. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!!!

I have been to a few pain dr.s and they didnt care about my pain or listen to me. I felt like they were taking me as a pill seeker. When i met Dr.Mimms he listened to me and he gave me a script and when i came back I asked to cut me down some he did and ive been doing great since that appt and ive been with him for 3 years and i feel at home and he cares about me because he listens and shows it The people who write bad things on here are wrong and must not get what they want Ty Dr.Mimms

I have been trying to make a appointment for 2 weeks so has my case manager but the staff won't answer or return calls

Staff is HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL ,LACK OF CARE,for his Patients!!!
