Office staff is the worst
Dr Lucatorto is a great doctor however his office staff is literally the worst. They DO NOT understand in the least the concept of customer service. You will be on hold forever if you call and that is assuming they even pick up the phone. They never return messages left for the office and take forever to complete tasks. This has made my visits at the office unbearable. Medical needs are time sensitive and I just don't understand how on earth more people haven't left as they have zero respect for people's time or zero sense of urgency when it comes to time sensitive medication issues. Also the wait times to see the doctor are beyond ridiculous...hour plus every single time, even first appointments are never really first appointments.

Poor Management
Dr. Lucatorto is a nice man and may be a great doctor, but he has the worst office management I have ever seen. Waited 2 months to hear about bloodwork from my initial visit. Not online, no call. Finally got an appointment. Called to be sure they were running on time. Waited 1 1/2 hours in an exam room and was never seen. Had to leave to get my kids. Anytime I call the office I am put on hold for 5-10 minutes and have even been hung up on.

Dr L is great office staff not so Much
He is a fantastic doctor once you have waited over an hour and a half to see him. And this is with a scheduled appointment. I would love it if he made it a point to respect his patients time more. A 9:15 am appointment shouldn’t mean you walk out of there at 11:00am. And this is regularly, I have never been seen at my appointment time, it has always been at the earliest 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I actually have to take a full day off of work when i go and see him because i never know how long the wait beBut like i said once you’re in he’s great. He is patient and really takes the time to hear your concerns. The office staff could use a complete overhaul. Call and expect to be on hold for up to 20 minutes and not even an apology for waiting, very disorganized, portal always has wrong info in it and it is not current, and don’t get bloodwork drawn there, unlike labcorp where you can see your results in 24 -48 hours, they won’t even let you know that the results are in.

First visit for a physical was an hour and figured it was just a busy day. Came back a year later for a physical and after an hour and a half I walked out. The nurse said it’s a normal occurrence for Dr. Anthony Lucatorto to show up to the office an hour after his first scheduled appointment and that she usually tells her patients to call to make sure he’s in before coming. If you don’t have a full day for a scheduled visit than I recommend finding another doctor.

STAY FAR AWAY!
Practice is taking a stance of subjecting patients to "extra cardiac testing" at an extra fee if they have been vaccinated against COVID. But those patients who have actually HAD COVID, even those who have been diagnosed with cardiac side effects, do not undergo extra medical screening. Now taking my family elsewhere, where they actually follow science.

I'm very disappointed with the doctor and his staff. I have been trying for over a week to get him to send in information to Visiting Nurses so my 80 yr old mom could get her home PT. I finally lost my patience with his staff today and told them off. That's no way to treat the elderly.

Dr. Lucatorto has been my PCP for over a decade. I’m always honest and have extreme trust, as such I’m always treated with respect. He staff has always been amazing and helpful. I’m greeted warmly, and talking to him is like talking to a friend. The wait times can fluctuate- and that all comes back to the fact that he will not rush a patient out. I know that if I have a bunch of stuff, he will take the time to be thorough in his exam. If I only need a 6 minute appointment, or if I need 30...I know I have his attention and his ear. I feel very lucky to have had him recommended to me years ago, and I recommend him to my family and friends.
