Dr. Anthony Lombardo, DPM

Dr Lombardo repaired my Achilles tendon. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome or care. He was kind, competent and patiently answered all of my questions. I was told he was available to answer any questions I might have between office visits which I appreciated.

I just want to say that I have known Dr. Anthony Lombardo for years. He not only has successfully treated and operated on me but he has also treated/operated on my 2 daughters as well. We have had different medical issues and he has always come thru for us. He is very caring and compassionate and never rushes when seeing you. He always listens and answers my questions and offers suggestions. I recommended my sister-in-law to him and he was great with her too. I will continue to highly recommend Dr. Lombardo to anyone. Thank you Dr. Lombardo!??

After months of follow up care, Dr. Lombardo has determined there is nothing more to be done for my ankle. He has declined to entertain the notion that there is an issue, declined ordering imagery to ensure everything has healed as it is supposed to, informed me that I do not feel pain where I said I did and suggested I have a substance abuse issue. I can't decide if I am more angry, offended or frustrated. Be wary of any doctor with a God complex.

I AM TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH DR. LOMBARDO AND HIS STAFF AT THE OFALLON OFFICE. I SUFFERED A CATASTROPHIC ACHILLES TENDON RUPTURE LEAVING DR. LOMBARDO LITTLE TO NOTHING TO WORK WITH. HE RECONSTRUCTED THE TENDON USING A PREDISCUSSED OPTIONAL PROCEDURE AND THE RESULTS ARE FANTASTIC ! HIS STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

I could not have been more impressed with the care that I received from Dr. Lombardo and his staff! Dr. Lombardo is very kind and compassionate with an excellent “bedside manner” (very funny and easy to talk to); he took the time to review the issue, share all of my treatment options, and answer my questions. Dr. Lombardo performed my surgery and was wonderful in all aspects there as well; It was obvious that he was well-liked and respected by the staff of the surgery center and I was assured that I was in excellent hands! After surgery, Dr. Lombardo made sure I had quick access to consultation about any concerns I had, even after office hours; when I needed to contact him, he responded right away which was a huge comfort. I truly can not say enough about Dr. Lombardo! Not only is he an outstanding medical professional with exceptional clinical skills, he is also a genuinely kind and caring human being who Is obviously invested in helping his patients get back to health!

I can’t say it enough, DO NOT go to Dr. Lombardo. From the very start, my care was sub par. I was told I would need surgery to remove a bone. I was told it was a “simple surgery,” I would be thanking God I got the surgery and I would be pain free 3 days after. Immediately after surgery I had a significant amount of pain in my thigh. I looked down and saw a red welt all the way around my thigh. I asked the nurse what it was from and she casually said a tourniquet was left on my thigh during the entire 3 hour surgery. I’m a nurse and I know this is NOT safe, nor standard practice. 3 days after surgery, I developed a DVT & PE. I went to his office in the worst pain of my life, was put on antibiotic and sent on my way. A few days later I was in the hospital fighting for my life. Dr. Lombardo flipped my world upside down and 8 months post op, I am still in incredible amounts of pain and there’s nothing he can do about it. I’m warning you, you will regret it.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lombardo. He has performed several surgeries on my feet (different foot issues). My results have always been successful. He is professional, kind, listens and answers all of your questions. Because he is such an excellent doctor he has lots of patients, which can sometimes result in a longer wait in the waiting area. I prefer the best medical care I can get so, I don't mind waiting longer if necessary!

I appreciate Dr. Lombard but I will not return to this office. The CHECK IN process is too elaborate and not throughly explained. Today’s technology does not work for everyone. I received a text confirming my appointment, another text to “check in” doing full medical history and information on my phone INCLUDING paying my co pay via my phone. Followed instructions, I’m checked in and bill paid. Arrived 10 minutes before my 1:00 appointment and waited. After 25 minutes of waiting I thought I would see how much longer my wait would be. When someone was available at approximately 1:30, I inquired only to get a response that I had missed my appointment. How ? You didn’t check in. Yes I did and paid my co pay. “Oh, that’s a different check in system, we have two systems, you have to check in at the kios too. We will have to reschedule you. No, no we won’t, where is the explanations for a complete check into both “systems” ?? Patient care at this office has disappeared.

Wow!! Great communication skills. He spoke so I could understand. Showed me my X-Rays and showed me why he diagnosed my condition.

He doesn't spend much time with you. I have a tear in my Achilles' tendon. The last two appointments he only spent 5-10 minutes with me. I also had to wait an hour to see him. I did like his conservative approach. He put me in a boot for four weeks.

I would recommend Dr. Lombardo without hesitation . He has a wonderful personality and very explanatory on your condition. Wonderful experience for first time.

Wonderful doctor. I had an injury to my foot and his office got me in right away. Dr. Lombardo was very caring and helped me understand my injury and the treatment that he recommended. Two thumbs up!

Very charming doctor. Dr. Lombardo takes very good care of his patients and I would highly recommend him.

Great doctor. There is a little bit of a wait in the waiting room but his bed side manor is well worth it. He takes great care of his patients and his office staff is outstanding.

He is Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde. Can be very charming. Also vindictive with a nasty temper. He did such a poor job on operating on my foot, I had to see another doctor to repair the damage done.

Dr Lombardo is a great doctor. His office staff, scheduling, and billing followup is where I have major concerns. While I fully respect his medical advice and treatment, I find his billing process ineffective and frustrating, the schedule to take a long time (over scheduling), along with cancellations after waiting 1.5 months in major pain for treatment and getting called the day prior to cancel. No issues with doctor, just his office staff.
