Excellent Doctor
Dr. Desmarais listens. He doesn't rush appointments and always lets you know he's available if you need him. Best PCP I've had since coming her.

Best Doctor. Saved my life.
Saw the doctor in the fall of 2022 for the first time. He took an EKG right there, marked it Urgent, and sent me to a cardiologist. That saved my life. If it wasn’t for his quick action, I would have died - I had an extremely weak heart an an EF of 15. Instead of sitting and typing things in the laptop, he was proactive. He is caring, concerning, friendly, asks questions amd actually examines his patients! Best doctor I have ever had. Unfortunately, he is leaving Florida and moving back to Pennsylvania.

I have been looking for a doctor for 2 years now. He is a wonderful doctor. He reminds me of my doctor in Illinois and that's a great compliment

I've had three or four visits with Dr. Desmarais so far and he has been really good. Very thorough in evaluating blood testing and takes the time to listen to any issues you have. So far, I'm really glad he joined the team at Rivers Family Medicine.
