passive aggressive
Passive Aggressive when I am suffering from a disease state. I can deal with that but the conversation turns petty and I do not get the help I need.

Dr. Ansu Joy is the absolute worst Endocrinologist in the State of New Jersey. As a patient I knew more on the subject of Endocrinology and my personal condition than she learned in her medical school. The appointments with her was an absolute waste of time because she never addressed any of my concerns or answered any of my questions relating to my conditions. Do not waste your time with this Dr. Find a specialist that has at least 5 star rating. If you can read about your disease in the self-help section on the Internet - you already know more than she ever will about her field.

She is great, the receptionists are always incredibly rude though. It is very off putting.

The doctor is passive aggressive. She seems unsure with treatments for unusual cases. We left with a very uncomfortable feelIng. She only wants to make $ and does not care about the patient. I would not recommend anyone to this doctor. .

This doctor is more concerned about making $ than the patients dosage or concerns. She won’t ever speak on the phone even after you have just made a visit instead will call you in again to talk as if people don’t have any out of pocket co pays. Extremely dominating doctor who does not care to even listen to what a patient has to say during the visit. Never going back!

Dr Joy is an excellent doctor. She diagnosed my thyroid cancer in 2 tiny nodules. When she called me about the biopsy results she said she would stay late for me to come in and talk to her about it as she could hear in my voice I was very upset. She explained everything very clearly and was very encouraging. A gentle and caring doctor.

I was sorely disappointed with my visit with Dr. Joy. She flippantly changed my medications a few times, did not seem to listen or understand my concerns, and even reduced my medication to a point where I could barely function. I called the office a few times during these few awful weeks and was never allowed to speak directly with the doctor, rather she sent messages through her secretary. I felt the doctor had more concern for making $ off me than my actual well-being.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joy's for 3 years. She is an outstanding physician, who diagnosed my wacky off the chard high then off the chart low thyroid test results, and talked to me until I thoroughly understood what was happening to my thyroid and how it affected the rest of my body. She found cancer nodules when they were very very small, and recommended me to an excellent surgeon. Dr. Joy's followup care has been equally excellent these past two years since thyroid removal.

Having gone through a total thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer, I must rely on thyroid replacement meds to act as my thyroid. Dr. Joy did not give me the correct dose of my thyroid hormone meds. Without the proper dose, I became increasing weak, ill, almost ending up in the hospital. I had a very difficult time trying to convey the state of my health and rapidly decreasing thyroid hormone levels to Dr. Joy. The office personnel refused to let me speak to the dr. The patient portal was a joke.

I switched doctors because I moved. She didn't listen to my needs. I had been on 2 other medications for my hypothyroid which didn't work. And finally found one that did. Since I wasn't a doctor she pretty much didn't care of what I said. And she wanted to put me back on a medication I was already on. Said some symptoms I had weren't because of my thyroid (which after I switched again my new doctor told me they were symptoms of my thyroid being low). I had only seen her once. Won't go back!
