Dr. Han has been my pcp for several years. He is always “right on the money” with his diagnosis and treatment. I simply don’t believe these people (all from the same little town) who say he shamed them and didn’t listen. I am 100 lbs overweight, and he has always empowered me. He has given me recommendations and helped me in every way. He has always been kind and considerate.

Massive overbilling - helping contribute to our rising healthcare costs. Went in to see Doctor Anping Han to get two referrals (that I had already picked out). Spent less than 10 minutes with the doctor, which I was initially happy about because I was just there to get referrals. He also happened to refill a prescription for me for finasteride 1mg, a totally benign drug for hair loss I have been taking for years. Next thing I know my insurance gets billed for 45 minutes to 1 hour of medical decision making! I complain and eventually the doctor calls me explaining that it's all about the complexity of my case and that he could bill that because he issued a prescription as well...a load of crap frankly. This is why health insurance rates are skyrocketing up, providers like this are overbilling routinely. You may not care upfront if you have great insurance, but you certainly will if you haven't yet reached your deductible.

Dr Han is the primary reason we even go to Appledore. He is very professional and responsive to patient requests. I am an asthmatic and my husband is susceptible to bronchitis as a result of his job as an airline pilot. In the recent Covid 19 pandemic Dr. Han consulted with us and provided testing referrals as needed. He always calls us promptly with the test results. Aside from his professionalism we love his personality. He always finds a way to put a smile on our faces and has a wonderful sense of humor. If you are interested in his academic background you will discover he comes to the U.S. as a highly qualified professional. As we stated, he is our reason for being at Appledore.

Dr. Han is my (59) and my father's (91) family doctor; he's excellent. He is genuinely caring and thoughtful, with expert knowledge and many years of directly related personal and professional experience. As is everyone in his office, he is courteous, respectful and thorough; flexible in helping us manage our health; and when we need his urgent care, he and his nurse are quickly available for over-the-phone consult, and when necessary, same day in-office appointments. Perhaps most importantly, Dr. Han is successful in helping us maintain good health. My father likes him very much and trusts his advise and direction implicitly; and so do I.

Dr. Han performed my annual wellness exam. He is very thorough in his exam and takes the time to explain conditions, test results and to provide context with recommendations for follow up and treatment. We have a dialogue, not a one way communication. He is very thoughtful in his approach to care and follow up.

Dr Han was very unprofessional and made me feel very bad about myself. He repeated over and over how I’ve failed and he cannot help me and suggested I find someone else as a provider, which I absolutely have. Han made me leave the office in tears with my baby girl he was so cruel. I would NEVER suggest anyone to visit him as a provider for any problem you may have.

My daughter does not gravitate to male doctors but she came home after one appointment snd wanted him to be her PCP. She told me that he listened to what she had to say, he was direct and didn’t sugar coat anything, and they worked together to develop a plan. Thank you Dr. Han.

Dr. Han is professional and extremely thorough. I was seen for a follow-up appt. He went through my records and saw that I was overdue for a few shots, which his MA gave me in the office that day. I also told him that I needed to cancel my physical over a month earlier and still needed to reschedule. He did my physical right then! I was impressed. I never felt rushed and he answered any questions I had. Needless to say, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Han!
